Good afternoon, friends! Hoping in to say hello. Just picked the kids up from school a short while ago and helped them with their homework, now I'm watching on Hallmark. DH will be home shortly - we'll eat a quick dinner, then it's off to work! Hope you're having a great day and staying warm!

Is it me or does that Rockefeller Tree Show get worse every year ? I've seen hand puppets do better lip syncing. Sheshhhhh

YES! Christmas Vacation was on AMC, so I was switching back & forth but I made sure to see the actual lighting!!!

We're grinding out the days, ever advancing toward our ultimate goal, Christmas Day.

Days to Christmas Day: 26 (A scant THREE WEEKS and five days left!)
Starting to close in, now!

Cold weather this morning for my trip to the coast.
We show a starting temperature reading of 29 degrees here but from this point forward, we will begin a warming trend which could see us top out in the low to mid 70's by the weekend. (That will be a welcome change!)

Edge will take over for tomorrow morning as I will be at the coast winterizing our cottage.

1 more sleep until the Old Fashioned Downtown Walk; looking forward to it. Looks like I'm heading down on my own, but I know I'll run into familiar faces. I have to pick up a few gifts for the youngest granddaughters and there are 2 toys & games stores downtown that will have some good deals.
I booked next Friday off to finish my shopping with less crowds than we usually see on the weekends. Last weekend, the lots were filled up as if it was the weekend before Christmas.
Well, I better get to work; have a great day and STAY JOLLY!

Good Thursday morning! I have the day off, so why did I wake up at 4am??? It’s going to be very
mild the next few days, going to enjoy it before it gets cold again next week. I have a ton of things to do today, from grocery shopping to going for a haircut to going back to my former store to see one employee whom I had promised I would come and see again (and the others as well of course). Hope everyone will have a great day!

Morning MMC! I'm off the next 4 days. Got my car inspected early this morning and went to Dunkin for breakfast. Now gonna do some exercising and a few errands. This afternoon I'm going to try to get some more Christmas shopping done. Have a great day!

Merry Thursday MMC ~
The workers finally finished here and our gas heat is up and running. I am behind on so many things around here from being stuck in the house for three days in a row. I’m going to walk Rocky and then I’m heading out to run a bunch of errands, including a big food shopping trip. Back home to work on a mountain of laundry and clean these wood floors. I also have an appointment this afternoon to have my mother of the bride dress altered. I hope everyone is well and has a nice day!

Good Thursday morning, Christmas friends!

I have a minute to post before our daily staff meeting. It's COLD again today. I had to scrape ice off of Elizabeth's windshield before she left for school this morning. And the weather man still says it'll be in the mid to upper 70's this weekend. LOL

We have a busy weekend planned, mostly with going to see Jacob sing with the University Choir, and Elizabeth sing with the school chorus. Fun, fun!

Good snowy morning MMC!!! Another crazy day!! Working both places & then we have a meeting with moms attorney this afternoon. Hopefully this is a cut & dry process!! xx

Merry Friday Eve...just to give a quick update on my Dad. We had his appt. and the liver biopsy is not back (was supposed to be back on Tuesday) but the biopsy/cultures of the fluid from his abdomen showed no malignant cells so that is good news. The Dr believes that if the lesions are cancerous they are confined to the liver only so that was good news, I was really worried that it had spread into the abdominal area. Our next appt is Tuesday. I appreciate all the prayers and well wishes!

Not too much planned today...work and catching up on laundry and I need to vacuum later. I am making homemade mac and cheese for dinner and hopefully will get in a Christmas movie. I think there may be a couple new ones on Netflix. Hope you all have a great day!

Good afternoon to everybody. It has been a weird weather day for us, rain all night and snow this morning with winds. We are currently under a extreme winter watch for 12" of snow possible. Hope everyone has a great rest of there Tuesday.

12" of snow?? So Jealous Where was this at? I may have to move there as we don't get enough snowfall where I am at for my liking LOL

Good afternoon ... Well the inside of my house is all decked out for Christmas but the outside is still decorated for Fall/Thanksgiving. Mother nature has not been on co-operating with our days off .. Its either been raining or extremely too windy/cold to decorate the outside when we were off but of course we get nice weather when we had to work. Hoping to be able to get the outside done on Sunday. We are headed to NYC for the day Saturday!

I really do need to get started on my Christmas Cards and wrapping gifts. Tired of the bedroom looking like back of a fed ex truck with boxes and bags everywhere LOL Well lunch break almost over. Have a great day!

Our bedroom is the same way. I caused a avalanche of Amazon boxes last night. I wasn't really impressed seeing as it was 12:15 am.
