Skye is so beautiful! That scenery is both your pictures is gorgeous. I hate Winter but it can sure look spectacular.

TGIF, Christmas friends!
Elizabeth comes home from the Beta Club Convention today. I'm ready to see her! She didn't place in the talent competition, and she was relieved LOL. She didn't want to have to dance in front of such a big crowd again.
Mama called me yesterday afternoon in a panic. She had spilled a pot of boiling water on herself and needed to come help. I flew to her house, but by the time I got there, she had calmed a bit. Luckily, she was wearing jeans which deflected most of the water, and her legs weren't really even red. She had jumped in a cold shower as soon as it happened, so she was ok. I took her to the pharmacy and got some lidocaine spray, which helped. Whew, scary!

Skye, our sheltie, and I had a cold walk around Lake Pleasant today. We do a daily walk...the weekend is supposed to be much milder here.

It is warm, but very windy out so my allergies have been going nuts today. Probably shouldn't have taken a couple of walks in the woods this afternoon, but how often do we see the daytime temperature reach 50 degrees in January? Gorgeous day!

I miss out sheltie, Fox who died in 2016 after 14 years of wonderful, loving service.
Good Saturday morning all. Just got over battling what I assume was a 24 hour bug. It hit hard just after 4AM on Friday while at work. I managed to make it till the end of the shift, but asked management not to put me near anyone else, just in case.
Got home to a bottle of NyQuil and a ton of sleep. Woke up briefly around 8PM and had a small bowl of soup. Then another swig of that magic elixir and another 6 hours in the sack. Of course I had to call in for last night's shift.
Got up just after 2AM. Throat is still a bit sore, but I guess it is due to how raw it got. Other than that feeling much better. In a short while, I will begin the task of removing most of the decorations in the house and getting it put back into it's usual ten month appearance.
Not much else going on, I hope you all have a "cool" final January weekend and oh yes... 53 days left till Spring.

I have a busy weekend ahead. I work until 2 today, my grandson will visit with his dad after work. Grocery shopping. Taking grandson to visit his mom on Sunday & then a crop. (My first crop since October.) I'm bringing two friends, one who is very new to the world of scrap booking.
It boggles my mind that it's already the end of January.
I've managed to catch the cold that has been circulating around work. One person went home sick with vomiting, so....that can stay away. I don't want that.

Rocky woke me up at 3:30am, little stinker! He ended up falling back asleep but of course I couldn’t. It’s going to be a long day! I need to do some food shopping this morning and run to the pet store at some point. I’m making sausage & peppers for dinner and I have burgers as well. We’ll just be catching up on some shows this evening. That’s about it. I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful weekend!!!

Do I have to be a premiere member in order to add a profile picture or am I just not finding where to add a profile picture from?
Hi CG - I don’t know about membership requirements but if you want to change your profile picture, go into your account details, click on the current picture. You should see some default pictures you can select or an option to use a custom avatar. If you use the custom avatar option, select the library where the image you want is stored, select done, and then apply the image. Hope this helps.
Rollins woke me up at the time I normally get up for work yet during the week he's sound asleep when I have to get up. It's like they know it's the weekend and want you up to play early!
