Good afternoon. Last night's game was a great! Didn't appreciate the idiot in the neighborhood setting off fireworks and firecrackers at 2 am. Extra coffee today for sure. Yesterday I found this cute 5 piece (4 mason jars and a metal caddy) set. The box shows it being used to hold flatware but I am going to turn mine into a Hot Cocoa Caddy. Going to fill 3 of the jars with different hot cocoa mix and place plastic spoons in the 4th. I think this will make it easier for my kids to make hot cocoa whenever they wants some. I am thinking about picking up another one for my daughter. She has several of my mason jars in her room for her makeup brushes so this I figured this caddy will be perfect for her.

They make delicious coffee, we use one all the time when we go camping. Only as long as it takes to boil water, then only like 3-4 minutes past that until you have coffee.

Morning MMC. Back to work for me but got a lot done on my day off including my eye exam, ordered new contacts, Rollins vet appointment and went out to eat. It was a good day but with Rollins I had to bring him home due to biting the nurses. He is very over anxious and always has been. And our vet who we have had forever since Nitro was little and is very well regarded in our area advised us to try giving him Anti-Anxiety pill. It worked. Our vet said lots of dogs are on it just like people are and it helps them live their lives a lot more normal and happier that they don't have to be anxious all the time. Energetic is one thing but Rollins does take it to a whole new level. He said he's had some of his own dogs on it for years now and there's no side effects that come with it. We're kind of trying it out for now and see how he reacts to it short-term. Anyway sorry to ramble a little. Have a great day everyone!

The fact is, every morning is different because each morning has its own assigned count number.
Let's look at today's:
Days to the Season: 280
Days to Christmas Day: 322

In addition, each and every day is a different distance from the nearest Milestone marker.
This date is no exception, and it is just SIX days away from the ONE-QUARTER POINT to the Season.
(That's LESS than 1 week, Foks!)

We only reached 48 degrees for a high yesterday, but at least it was dry.
Today will see us up near 60, with mid 60's predicted for tomorrow, as winter again takes a brief hiatus.
Currently, we see 33.2 degrees on our digital back door thermometer.

It was an uneventful evening last night. I watched "The Cloverfield Paradox" on Netflix, which was awesome (especially if you've already seen the original movie, "Cloverfield"). Then I had a gordita from Taco Bell LOL.

Glad you had a good day off!

Working today and my daughter has basketball practice tonight. We are having tacos for dinner.
My brother is coming up from Charlotte tomorrow for my Dad's b-day and staying until Friday night. I took a 1/2 day on Thursday and off on Friday.

I’m just having my coffee and relaxing for a little bit. I need to get moving soon. I have to tidy up, vacuum and start laundry. I need to do some food shopping this morning. I hope the meds help Rollins. I should talk to my vet about that for Leo. He is definitely on the anxious side at times. Have a good Tuesday!

Yeah I just feel weird about giving him it. But it was a big difference I saw in him. Normally when he "plays" he brings the ball and is very rough grabbing it from your hand to the point that he will often bite/nip you somewhat hard. It's like he only cares about getting the ball...whether he gets your hand or not in the same process is not a big concern to him lol. But yesterday after I gave it to him he actually would purposely NOT touch my hand. If I faced my hand in front of his mouth holding the ball away from him he would go around my hand to only try to touch the ball. Like he was being very careful and less anxious. It was nice to be honest...and he still wanted to play. I'm just trying to do what's best for him. I don't want to harm him in any way.
