LOL I have 3 hams in my freezer too including the one I bought today. I had 2 turkeys too but pulled one of them out to cook on Sunday

I have one whole turkey too and a bone in turkey breast. Lol!!!
I need to reorganize the freezer though. All the big stuff is on top and I can’t get to my normal stuff underneath.

Good morning MMC! Merry Friday Eve!! I need you to all say a prayer this morning that our mail at work comes through early today!!! (HA! Just kidding - that's a minor detail!) BUT I get to leave work once the mail is through. And I hope it's early!! Looking forward to an afternoon off on this sunny day! I'm waiting to hear back from Amishville. I left a message with Emma's brother's driver (geez!) that I will come out & pick her up after I get off work if she wants to come out. xx She was supposed to come yesterday but it was too snowy! It's so hard to get ahold of them - I can't imagine!
Our HS boys basketball team is playing at state semi's today. Looking forward to listening too the game!

Good Thursday morning, Christmas friends!
After the funeral yesterday, I was driving back home through a nearby town when I saw something in the road. A tree hangs over part that part of the 5-lane highway, so I thought it was a fallen limb. I started to cross into the next lane to avoid it when I realized it was a child standing in the road! He couldn't have been more that 2 years old, facing away from oncoming cars. AND CARS WERE JUST GOING AROUND HIM!! I used my truck to block both of the lanes of traffic that he was near, then jumped out, grabbed him and ran to the side of the road. A couple ladies who saw this stopped and called 911, and a few minutes later a girl approx. 10 years old came from a nearby house and said he was her brother. Apparently, no parent was around and the children were left at home. The ladies gave the girl a stern talking-to about watching the younger children, and she took the boy home.
I can't believe how careless some people are with their children, AND HOW PEOPLE ON THE ROAD JUST DROVE AROUND THIS LITTLE BOY AND KEPT GOING!!

LOL I just did that this morning with the chest freezer, one turkey, 2 whole chickens, all 3 hams, pork shoulder roast and 6 racks of pork ribs are now at the bottom half of the chest freezer. Makes finding the smaller things easier.
Made a pit stop at the local thrift store and picked up a couple books including a christmas themed novel so I will be reading that this weekend

I also picked up a couple of books a few weeks ago but haven't had a chance to read them yet as I've been so busy. Hopefully I'll have a chance now I'm on a two week break.
Oh yikes!!! I hope your snow isn't as heavy as ours was here...or you have a good snow blower!! We had snow on our sidewalk & at the end of our driveway - after work yesterday I tried to shovel. I did a small area, but it was just too heavy! Was killin my back!!Stay safe!! (I would love to see a picture of 19" of snow!!!)
You have to be careful with that kind of snow, hope your back is alright. I let my husband dig us out today. I didn’t go out to snap a picture this morning, wish I did. We hit 45 today and it’s already melting away. Here’s some snowfall totals from a local meteorologist’s Instagram account.

That is Horrible. So glad you stopped and got that little boy to safety.
Morning MMC. TGIF. Looks like we finally will see spring weather next week. I see several days in the 50s with sun. That's going to feel like Miami compared to the weather we've had this month. First though a Friday and a weekend to look forward to. Just got errands to do Saturday and visiting my Uncle on Sunday like we do monthly. And can anyone believe this weekend will be Rudolph Day #3? Wow...slow down time already!

The ONE-QUARTER point to Christmas Day 2018. It's drawing nigh.
In fact, it will be here in LESS THAN HALF A WEEK!
That's right. A scant 3 days from now.
And just wait until you see what the next two markers after that one are!
(I'll give you a hint. They are back-to-back. And that happens only once a year, Folks!)
We are in a colder than normal rut here, and are predicted to remain so until the middle of next week. Plus, we have a chilly rain predicted for Saturday.
