We're getting a wintry mix followed by eight inches of snow by the time the storm leaves town, Saturday night. This is baseball season?!?
Did I say eight inches? It turned into a blizzard dropping over 20 inches when all was said and done.

There is a Christmas episode of The Middle on Freeform right now....and it's SNOWING!!!

That's a lot of snow anytime, but the middle of April???

Sounds like your Friday the 13th came a few days late. I hope tomorrow’s a lot better.

I think Merry is right - your Friday the 13th struck late. Monday the 16th! EEK! Hope your day gets better!

I know right!!! I'm going to try a cup of Earl Grey and nibble on some apple pie snaps. Today feels like a hot tea and cookie day!

Today seems like a curl on the couch under a blankey & watch a Christmas movie day!! :D

@made582, I hope your mom's appointment goes well and is relatively on time!

@Holiday, I was going to read a Christmas book, but they are buried in the stacks here so I started the Grafton book.
It is definitely a bummer that she passed before Z is for Zero was written. :(
I hope you are able to cover the days easily. Praying that your sister has a quick and complete recovery from her knee procedure!

@xmastidings, I hope your day goes better!

@Yuletide Junkie, that is way too much snow for April ~ be safe!

Well, it's nearly quitting time here. I need to run to the lake & unhook the water b/c it's so cold! Then I need to get groceries for mama - and for us! I really just want to go home & put on warm/cozy pj's! LOL

Everyone, have a great evening!!!

Thanks so much Meceka!! One way or another we'll get her taken care of! I'm ready for a day or 2 off work anyway...ha ha!
I hope you are enjoying Y Is For Yesterday!! I haven't read her series, but I do have A is for Alibi & they are all on my radar!!

Thanks!! It went good!! Was just a check up on her sleep machine.

He was only an hour and fifteen minutes behind at 10:00 am!! That’s almost like being on time for them. Lol!!

Morning MMC. Had a good 3 day weekend and woke up feeling fine today. Now off to work for a shorter week than usual. Oh yeah and don't forget today is Uncle Sam's Day so hopefully everyone took care of that business. Now on to Tuesday...a cooler day out but no floods or winds like yesterday. Have a good day!

Merry Tuesday MMC ~
It’s going to be cloudy today with highs near 49 degrees, chance of showers. Just having my coffee and relaxing for a few minutes before I get started on breakfast. I already straightened up the house and started laundry. I need to do some food shopping later this morning. Other than that I will be working on my daily chores. My mother is stopping by to visit later afternoon. I’m making tacos for dinner. That’s about it. I hope everyone is well and has a nice day!
xx

Good morning dear friends. Wow, what a difference 24 hours make. It’s beautiful outside, the little tweety birds are carrying on out there, suns shining, it’s a bit chilly but what a difference from yesterday. Yesterday, it rained so hard, for so long, I’m telling ya, I was beginning to think that I may have to start building an ark!

Well, with this week, we are truly into the meat of the month of April. I think winter, at least around these parts, has given it all she had and is now done with. The next 7 days here, are supposed to be averaging in the 50-60 degree range overall, which will make a lot of people happy.

I had bought a bag of these Apple Snaps (like ginger snaps), I thought I would give them a try because they looked good and I never had them before.
I made myself a cup of Earl Grey and I got into those hard cookies; my gosh, I couldn’t put them down. I loved them! I was going to dip them into my tea, but Let me tell you, oh my goodness, I was shoving those things into my tater trap, as fast as I could and the tea was washing them down.

If you like ginger snaps, you gotta give these things a try, they are so good!

Good Morning, Fellow MMC Citizens.

We but turn another page as we advance daily through our count.

Continuing:
Days to the Season: 210
Days to Christmas Day: 252

And just like that, we stand on the threshold of SINGLE DIGITS to the 200-Day Season window. TEN DAYS from today!
But wait! We are ALREADY down now to single digits to the 1/3 Christmas Day point, only 9 days away!
(Merciful heavens. These markers are starting to get away from us.)

Well, the chilly weather is back. It was quite cool yesterday (I did not see it get out of the 50's all day) and this morning has commenced at a cold 37 degrees with another cool high predicted for this afternoon.
But then, Mother Nature has promised to relent and return warm weather to us again for tomorrrow.

Have a Terrific Tuesday, Friends!
