Merry Friday!
It’s going to be sunny today with a high of 77 degrees. I’m just having my coffee and playing with Rocky, he’s feeling much better today. He’s back to his crazy self. Not too much going on here, just a typical day of errands and chores. I’m also going to work on a menu plan for Memorial Day. I hope everyone is well. Wishing all of you a great day and a wonderful weekend ahead!!!

And our travels have brought us once again to Weekend Eve, the threshhold of our 2-day end-of-the-week respite.

It has also brought us to a brand new set of Countdown numbers.
Here they are:
Days to the Season: 172
Days to Christmas Day: 214

And naturally, a day closer to the Season and Christmas Day is also a day closer to our next Milestone marker.
The 200-day Christmas Day Window. It's now only 14 days away.
TWO WEEKS from today!
Then, a double-100's level count.
(We're getting there, Folks. Step by step and day by day.)

No rain yesterday and the temperature/humidity was manageable.
Starting to pick up a bit of a mosquito problem, however. Par for the course this time of the year.
Today shows a slight shot at rain, with temps in the mid 80's.
Currently? We are at 71 degrees here in central NC.

Looking forward to the holiday weekend, even though the weather is going to be freakish ... sunny and near 90F today; near 90F again tomorrow, but clouding up and rapidly dropping temps; Sunday it isn't supposed to get out of the 50s; Monday cloudy, showers, and 60s. Ugh.

And our fridge/freezer is failing, so we'll be going shopping. It's been on borrowed time for a while. Fingers crossed that it'll hold out until we can get a new one purchased and installed.

Morning MMC and Happy Memorial Day Weekend! The summer heat and humidity is here but we should have a much cooler Sunday coming. But today I'm putting up the a/c and doing some yard work. Maybe not the most fun plans but things that will be worth it when done. Have a great Saturday!
 
Morning ... It's my day to sleep in and nope was awake before 7 ok so technically I did sleep in well past my 5 am wake up during the work week but LOL. Going to give the neighbors a chance to wake up before we head out to do yard work as we want to get it done before the storms roll through later today. Our daughter wanted to have a fire going in the fire pit tonight and have her friends over but looks like will have be moved to next weekend as mother nature has other plans for tonight. Have a great day.
