He looks like enjoys the outdoors LOL!Well, the weekend is almost upon us. I'm off for a few days camping, so I won't be online. The relatives had a great time visiting and now are in New York city seeing the big apple. I dropped the dog off to friends to dog-sit. They lost their dog last year, so it's a nice time for them to have a furry friend around the house, but not have the full responsibility of having a dog full time.
When our previous dog passed, it took me about a year or so to get another one. I realize now that I was being a bit selfish. I thought I couldn't bear to lose another creature whom I loved for almost twelve years, but now that this little guy has come into our lives he's taught me patience, joy, hopefulness, and so much more. Sometimes we need to live our lives like dogs. Be present in the moment, be curious, and most of all, love unconditionally.
Thanks for letting me wax philosophically. Have a great weekend everyone. Remember, we're almost at the 100 mark.

I would say the latter. Crabtree keeps the A/C turned up pretty high. I almost have to wear a jacket.Awesome Crown! I Love, love, love this. The set up is just beautiful!
I wonder, hmmmmm, I wonder if Santa will show up in red shorts or be wearing the full costume?

Thanks Crown! Can't believe we are down to single digits...also love the pics from the mall..so exciting!Good Morning, Voyagers.
It's a long trip, but our "Milestone Ports of Call" certainly make the journey more enjoyable!

(Wow, Guys. Just Wow!)
Well, we had a dry day at last yesterday, with sun but also with increased temperature and humidity. ("Sticky" is the word the meteorologists like to use.)
Today shows our rain chance increasing again, with a high in the low 90's.
The present reading here in the capital city is 76 degrees.
Have a Fabulous Friday, Friends.
And a great Weekend Eve as well!
Thanks! We can’t wait for our Frankenmuth day. We live an hour and a half south of there, so you’d think we would visit more often. But we really don’t. We love the chicken dinners and shopping throughout the town. And of course, Bronnor’s is a huge highlight.Congrats on the gender reveal! That is so exciting! What a thoughtful thing for your children to do. You guys will have such a great time!
Thank you so much. I’ll try to grab some pics of Bronnor’s and other memorable sites in Frankenmuth to share on the forum.Congratulations to your son and DIL!! How exciting to be a first-time grandparent!!
What a great anniversary present ~ have fun in 'Muth, especially at Bronners!!!!
Oh man!! I'll need to get to Menards. I've never seen their Enchanted Forest.Me, too. Love Menard's! And their spooky town Halloween village!
I feel like a kid again walking through the Enchanted Forest when their Christmas trees are on display. Love it.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I just recently lost my beloved chocolate lab after having her as a companion for 9 years. (We rescued her when she was 5 years old.) The loss didn’t affect me as hard as it could have because I have two other dogs. It wasn’t easy, but it made it easier since I had other doggies to support me.Well, the weekend is almost upon us. Yay!! Post pictures, please!!
Poor Piper. She must be very nervous.
Fingers crossed that with a little time, they will be buddies. Please give both Lucy and Piper hugs for us.
I hope Piper isn’t so scared when she goes back to your house and that she will along with Lucy. Good luck <3
Piper is so cute but I could see her being frightened and nervous around Lucy. Small dogs often are wary of bigger dogs. Hope they'll get along this weekend.
