I forgot to mention, Lulu got herself in a bit of trouble last night. She destroyed a whole 6-roll pack of Charmin in the bathroom! LOL I don't know what she was thinking, but Nancy flipped out. Lulu spent the night in the mud room!

Lol.... Sounds like she was having a good ole time!.

Good Afternoon, friends!!

It’s been a crazy morning here~ So glad that this work week is almost over. I need a break.

Jazzie was sick again this morning. Adrian slept in the living room with her so I could get some better sleep.
My parents are nearby, visiting a friend. They will be at the house by the time I get home from work. It’ll be great to see them, and hear about their trip.

What are your weekend plans?

We are catching up with Mom & Dad tonight, making dinner at the house. Tomorrow night, we are taking them out to dinner to celebrate their 50th anniversary. And then if it’s nice, take the girls for a walk down by the river. They haven’t seen the new park since it’s been completed.
Sunday will be a day of catching up around the house.

That’s about it for me, going to go grab some lunch and head back to the office for a few hours.

More "Christmas in July" decorations up at Crabtree today!

I'm just so shocked and amazed, to just how much your mall really gets into the CIJ events. It's so cool!

I haven't seen any place that does that. But I'll tell you one thing that I have noticed this year, is that more retailers are starting to get into CIJ. In years past, I only noticed and knew of QVC selling Christmas things in July, this year, more and more retailers are getting into it.
Hmmmmm, I wonder Crown, if it was because, they noticed that QVC is making a killing with CIJ?
Nahhhhh, they are all just have the Christmas Spirit; right? lol....

Hope everyone is having a great Friday evening. Not too much on tap for the weekend, which is just the way I like it! Making baked lemon pepper cod and baked potatoes for dinner. We are going to break out the smoker and smoke two large pork shoulders Sunday. Then we food save them into meal sized packages and into the freezer they go! I love having the option of smoked pork sandwiches in the winter time!! Hope everyone has a great Friday night!

I sure love your idea of smoking the meat and then putting it away in the freezer, in small packages for the winter. Just a fantastic Idea, which gives me something to think about doing myself.

They have awesome stuff!! I miss the one that used to be in my hometown.
I now have to travel further up north to visit one, but it's in a quaint little town, so I don't mind =] Until then, I live vicariously through Holiday's photos!!

I'll have to keep my eye open for some of her pictures. I really enjoy seeing how different retailers set up their stores, looking at all the different things they sell. I enjoy that.

You would love it, I think! Their headquarters are located here.

Oh, I just absolutely know that I would love it, it sounds wonderful. With
having the names of these places now, and knowing how they are for the holidays, I will totally look for them, when I drive out that way.

Hey, any excuse to go shopping is one good thing, but to get a chance and go Christmas shopping, sign me up!!!

She starts shaking in the evening and we can’t figure out why. I think she gets nervous that storms may come. Hope it’s not because of an upset stomach.

Nothing better in the winter than smoked pork sandwiches, but we have also have made smoked pork nachos, quesadillas, and put the meat on top of a baked potato in the winter, which is great!!!
