Felt this fits since it's been so hot lately.
Merry Monday MMC!
It’s going to be sunny and warm today with highs near 85. Rocky has a groomer appointment this morning. I’m going to run a couple of errands while he’s there. Back home afterward to work on the laundry. Dinner will be Italian wedding soup. That’s about it, I should have time to hang out by the pool this afternoon. I hope everyone has a nice day and a great week ahead!!!

Good Morning MMC!
lovely weekend here. Got garden weeded, tomato plants lied back and gave it all a nice long drink. Flower beds looking better too.
Off to work in a couple of hours. I have one of LittleCS's cats here and my Penny is not impressed at all with our visitor.
Next week already that we leave on our road trip to the jr Olympics! My son is so excited.

Good Morning Post-Milestone Marker Friends.
Well, thruth be told, it's always pre- or post- Milestone around here. Just as one passes, another pops up into view.
(And I'll give you fair warning, the NEXT one will knock your Christmas socks off!)
Our opening new week numbers:
Days to the Season: 121
Days to Christmas Day: 163
Now. Got a good grip on those socks?
OK. Our next Milestone is......now you may not believe this......the ONE-HUNDRED DAY SEASON WINDOW, and it will be here August 5. THREE WEEKS FROM TODAY!
And at that point, our Season count will begin numbering in DOUBLE-DIGITS!
(This is too much, Guys. I think I may head back to bed!)
Wow, has it been hot! Steadily into the 90's, with a humidity chaser each and every day. No relief in sight either, for the next ten day forecast period at the least.
(Whew! I can't wait for the 'bers!)
We begin the new week here in central NC at 75 degrees.
Well, try to stay cool Folks. And do your best to have a Marvelous Monday, OK?

Well this is a busy week. Football, football and more football.
The weather is just stupid hot at this point. We did some yard work yesterday and the heat was pretty oppressive. I need to mow the front yard, but that might be a very late evening thing to do.
It is hard to believe that we are in mid-July. I keep getting emails from the Spirit Halloween store to shop for decorations online. The fall will be here before we know it!

Merry Monday! Back to work for me...we had a great weekend visiting with my cousin and her family. I was watching a little QVC yesterday...definitely had me thinking of the holidays!! Another warm day but at least no rain...hope you all have a wonderful start to the week!

My dad and I were trying to play things by ear, but yesterday realized neither of us are that spontaneous and want to have a rough idea of where we will be sleeping while we're travelling together. Especially important for the first night.
I grabbed a bunch of free maps from CAA for my dad to check out. We will share the driving, but will have to rely on his GPS a few times as some of the directions for our destinations are unfamiliar to us.
I'm checking out "things to do" in a few places.
I will start packing this afternoon; surprised I'm not packed already.
O'Malley the cat will be going to spend time with the crazy cat lady; I'll stay to visit for about two hours and see how they take to each other. I bought him a new litter pan, food dishes, a placemat for his dishes and a new medium sized plush cat bed that is rectangular with a slight edge in a sand colour and much flatter than the old one. I sprayed it with a bit of my husband's cologne otherwise he'll have to make himself comfy on Sandy's floor.
Oddly enough the hard part for me will be sleeping all alone here tonight. I'll likely go to sleep with some music playing softly in the background. It's not the quiet or being alone that bothers me; it's blocking out my crazy thoughts. I have to remind myself that I sleep alone when I'm traveling for work so it's no big deal.
They're calling for rain later today, but right now it's blue skies with a few white clouds.
There are heat warnings for the direction we're heading in tomorrow so I'm glad my dad had the air conditioning fixed in the car.
I'll get a chance to post early tomorrow over coffee before we head out.
I am not taking my laptop with me. I need a new one (I'll pick something up for Back to School Deals) and this one actually belongs to work so I can't afford to have anything go wrong with it.
I will be 9 days merry and social media free. I don't have my work email added to my phone so it will be a true vacation.

I watched it for a few hours last night after coming home and I truly myself was bummed. There wasn't anything that I wanted to buy (even when I checked in on the app over the weekend). I'm not sure if it's the quality of the products lately or if it's the people they have selling it.
