They did, thank you! How is your brother doing?

Great news!

Thank you for asking about my brother, sugar! He starts 10 days of radiation treatment for the brain and then he starts the chemo for all the other stuff. He is so ready to get this over and done. His PT is coming along. He can walk a bit with a walker and the strength in his hand is improving. Still a ways to go before he can come home. He is upbeat and doing all he can to beat the disease!

Thank you. O'Malley and I are getting along like we were never apart. I had a few errands to run and each time I returned, he was happy to see me, but as soon as he greeted me, he retreated to the single mattress for more rest.

He's resting next to me on the floor right now, likely hoping I'll give him a bedtime treat soon.

My dad called an hour ago when I passed along some of the photos I took and he's already looking for another adventure. I'll pop over on Friday for a visit.

You're welcome.

I'm glad O'Malley is alright ~ he bounced back fairly quick! :)

Good Wednesday morning, Christmas friends!

It's MUCH cooler this morning, feeling more like late October than late July. It won't last long, but I'm enjoying it right now!

Lulu is doing ok. She doesn't really seem to be in pain, and her appetite has actually increased, but she does stop at steps to let me pick her up. A have to take her to the vet tomorrow for surgery and leave her overnight. Scary for me! I can't decide if I should visit her later, or if that would upset her when I have to leave again. :(

Anyway, I hope y'all have a great day! :)

Aw, it's so hard when our fur babies have to be away for surgery ~ I feel for you. I'll be praying for both of you!

It's a hard row to hoe, especially the chemo ... wishing him strength and all my best wishes.

After dropping my daughter off at her dance camp for the day. stopped by Dollar General and they already started putting up Halloween candy. did myself a little Happy dance at the store.

Merry Pines Day and Rudolph Eve Day!!

Getting a new roof put on the house has been somewhat of a catastrophe. There was a lot of damage to the porch which was expected after all the ice build-up the previous few years, but the contractor decided to go with all new decking on that entire side of the house and the cost started to rise. Then there were four layers of previous roofing to remove, not the one originally estimated. More costs. After all that, last night the tree in front of the house split in two so there was the added tree removal fee. Tomorrow, the two-day job, which has grown to five, will finally be over!! Happy Dance!!!

Besides the roofers being gone, there are a few plus sides. The roof that has been finished looks great and the tree I hate will be mostly gone. More importantly, Palmer can come out of hiding. :)

A happy Christmas movie is definitely on tap for tonight!!

My oldest was up last night with the stomach bug so I was up on and off a lot last night checking on her. She had soccer camp yesterday so I am not sure if it was the heat or what..

We had the same thing with our DD yesterday after day one of all day band camp. I stayed at home with her yesterday and she went back today. We've told her to keep drinking the water and she should be okay.

Listening to Christmas music this afternoon and thinking about five months from today, the best day of the year!

Hey everyone! My husband and I just returned from a two day trip to Frankenmuth, MI and of course Bronner's. This is probable my fifth or sixth time there. It never gets old seeing all of the lights and decorations and trees. However, I was last there in 2017 and I noticed that it was much pricier this year than two years ago. I understand prices have to rise, but sadly I hardly bought anything because I just couldn't justify the cost. And I had come ready to buy!! Still, we enjoyed the town and the atmosphere. But my days of shopping at Bronner's may be coming to an end unless I know it is something I can't find anywhere else! (I was going to say it unless it was something I absolutely NEED, but when it comes to Christmas stuff, I feel as though I NEED everything!) Hope everyone is having a great day.

While my dad's form of cancer was different; he is 15 and a half years free of cancer. Praying for your brother and his team of doctors to get him through with a happy future like my dad has experienced.
