Good afternoon all! Happy Thanksgiving Eve! We had Christmas pictures this morning and then we picked our niece up, so she’s here now. We plan on watching Thanksgiving and Christmas specials and movies tonight. I have stuffing and sweet potato casserole to make for work tomorrow. I hope you’re all having a great day so far!

Happy Thanksgiving to you all! Hope you all have a wonderful day.
I’ll be thinking of you tucking into plates of glorious food (not jealous at all!)
I’m off to a final job interview tomorrow (fingers crossed) but will pop on tomorrow evening to see how the celebrations are going.
Sending you all my best wishes

Best of luck!!!

Hey, hey, hey! It's THANKSGIVING EVE!!!!

Super stoked....

I have to head to Kroger in a bit. We (some community members) have 9 families that we are feeding and I am the delivery man.

After that, I get to cook for my family.

In this season of thanks, I hope you all know how thankful I am for you.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Can't get enough of your posts - Yabba-coach-man.

I'm joining 9 co-workers on Monday to help sort things out at the local Food bank as pre-Giving Tuesday gesture.

Happy Thanksgiving Eve, MMC!! It’s a crazy windy day here. Thankfully I don’t have any where to go. The only thing on my agenda is more prep work for tomorrow. I’m going to make up my baked corn, cheesy green bean casserole, and I’m trying a new make ahead mashed potatoes recipe. Then later tonight I’ll inject my turkey and get my stuffing ready. I need to clean some too. If I can get all that done, tomorrow should be pretty easy. I hope everyone has a great day!!

I had to go out today in a winter mess. I cleared my entire car off and was thinking I should get pulled over and offered a reward for how visible every spot of my windows were, I even wiped the snow of the sides of the car and my bumpers. The opposite of a reward would be a ticket for not clearing off your vehicle properly and posing a hazard to other drivers. By the time I was ready to get in the car, it was almost time to wipe it down all over again. HaHa - that's life in the North.

It's all snow and slush now.

We had our merry pot luck and decorating party at work today. I helped with the decorating, but cheated and bought a green salad from Between the Bun because I knew I wouldn't get a chance to prepare it myself and still have it fresh.

Alas, there was no gingerbread.

Stay Jolly +hSee you at the Pines!

Hope you get the position. :snowhappy

We were so jazzed by the lit tree that when we stepped out of the garage, to head across the yard to the house, we got a second shot of pre - Advent adrenaline upon seeing it, again. :)

That's getting me so excited as well! DH is off tomorrow, so he's going to decorate outside. It's supposed to be very windy here though, so hopefully it won't be too bad for him.

Aww, I just learned that one of our Santas passed away after a battle with cancer. He isn't the same Santa that does our parades and downtown walk, but was well loved in the Callendar/Powassan area.
I didn't know him, but I know a few of his relatives.

It's always sad when someone loses a special member of the family, but during this festive time of year, I find it a bit more sad for this family because he played Santa for the family and community.

Cancer stinks like a funky skunk.

So sorry to hear about this, Auntie. Prayers for you and his entire family.

Is there a better feeling then sitting in your living room with all of the lights off and nothing but the tree(s) lit? All of my other trees have been up since November 1st and I love them all but my live tree got finished today and it is so beautiful. It is my official start to Christmas. It was the year for the purple and silver tree, but we could not locate the purple ornaments, so we skipped ahead a year to the multi-colored lights and ornaments and it just looks so Christmassy. What an awesome feeling this is!
