Christmas Countdown - 2019

[Holiday]

Mercy me, oh my do I have A LOT of catching up to do!! Unfortunately it's not going to happen now. I'm at my "old" job for just a bit this afternoon, but heading back to the "new" job. Things have just been crazy & I haven't even turned on my computer at home for weeks!!! Gah!!!

I am so super excited to see Hallmark showing a Christmas movie every Friday night all year long. HOW FUN!!!!!!!


I don't think there is anything overly major to report - oh wait - yes in the last 1 1/2 weeks we have welcomed 2 new babies to the family - Grayson Michael (my nieces baby) & Kelsey Marie (my nephews baby.) All are good - after Grayson's bout under a belli light. He's back home & (knock on wood) all is good! He was a BIG BOY - 10 lbs. 9 1/2 oz. Kelsey was 6 lbs. 10.9 oz.

We booked a trip to Florida in just a couple weeks. Most of my family is going. Looking forward to that!!

Yes, Folks. It is once again the peak-of-the-week, and the view ahead to the weekend looks just great!

And hey. The view ahead to our next Milestone looks pretty good too, as do the daily numbers. Let's get straight to them!
Days to the Season: 280
Days to Christmas Day: 322

And the Milestone approaching us at a rapid rate?
Well, it's the ONE QUARTER point to the Season, and it will arrive in a scant 6 days. UNDER a week away, now!

We are living in a wonderland of warm temps, sunny skies and non-rain conditions that are quite rare indeed for February. Two more days of this to enjoy before winter begins to return once again.
(I for one, plan to relish it to the fullest!)
Our present temperature stands at 52 degrees.

Carl will be at the 'Pine's front door as always this evening, ready to pass out the first complimentary fired twinkie of February along with the first glass of sweet, southern iced tea.
The entertainment, as always, is a secret known only to our friendly activities director and his dedicated staff.
Come this evening to find out what you would have missed if you had stayed away.

Good morning all! Never got to check in yesterday - ended up leaving working late again. I love daylight, but it seems we’re all getting behind in our charting. It has been very busy and we just can’t keep with the charting and patient care, which I know is everywhere. I was there 14 hours again yesterday. I don’t have to be there until 11 today, but have to get ready here shortly and head in soon. I will check back in when I can and pray I am out around 7 tonight. Have a great day!

Good Thursday morning, Christmas friends!

Nancy, Elizabeth and I met Jacob for dinner last night. It was great to sit down as a whole family for a meal. After that, we took him to Walmart and bought a buggy-full of chips, cookies, Ramen Noodles and shampoo LOL!

It's another warm day, getting up to 85°, they say.

Good Thursday evening! It’s been a frustrating 2 days. I worked 12 hours yesterday, not happy about that. Then freezing rain overnight meant de-icing the car which took forever this morning. We went early to my in-laws to feed their birds and what should have been a 35-minute ride to their house took 2h15 minutes, a nightmare! I was getting so angry in the car, I really don’t know how people do this every day to get to/from work. Now at work, three employees did not come in, with one more feeling ill who may leave before the evening is over. I am tired and just want this whole week to be done already. Hope everyone’s day has been better than mine and that you will all enjoy a great evening!
