Good Morning, Folks!

Continuing our journey, we but turn another page.
Getting close to the end of this chapter though, as the statistics will bear out.

Days to the Season: 160
Days to Christmas Day: 202

And the "200's" chapter will be coming to an end in just TWO days.
The DAY AFTER TOMORROW, in fact!
That is when we will be opening the 200-Day Christmas Day Window to welcome in a double-100's level count sequence, and the ever-accelerating cruise on to Christmas Season 2019!

Had a bit of rain yesterday, with a severe thunderstorm watch out for most of the evening. Fortunately, we had no adverse weather conditions materialize were we are.
Today will see us move into the upper 80's with about a 40 percent chance of rain before we get a stronger chance of precipitation tomorrow.
We begin this day before Weekend Eve at 73 degrees, here.

Have a Thrilling Thursday, Friends!
Thanks Crown! Forwarding Through The Week!

***** TRAVEL ALERT *****

Well, our first renters of the 2019 beach season will be arriving at the cottage this Sunday, so we will be traveling over there Saturday morning to iron out final details and to be sure everything is ready for them.
As such, a countdown volunteer will be needed for one morning only, this Sunday.
Anyone feel adventurous enough to take on the job?
(Whoever it is will have the honor of posting 199 for the Christmas Day number!)
I can do that for you Crown.

Good Thursday morning, Christmas friends!

We're finally getting some much needed rain. Our garden appreciates it, too.

Today is Nancy's birthday! This afternoon her sister is hosting a drop-in party at their office, and this evening we're all going to a little Italian restaurant after Elizabeth's Mary Poppins practice.

I hope y'all have a great day! :D

I recently joined MMC and I was wondering the same thing about Pines Day, and even better than seeing the answer thanks to your post, I was so happy and relieved to see how kind the forum is by taking the "no stupid questions" attitude, so thank you Skippy for having the courage I lacked!
I think we old-timers get so used to seeing each other here, that we start conversing in shorthand. I don't always remember that other folks are reading without posting.

You are all welcome to join in! The more the merrier...literally!

Happy Birthday to Nancy! That sounds like a great time for her.

Good morning friends! Happy Thursday! Another day off here. DH is off again with me, so we're going to work more on pricing for the yard sale. We've never had one before, so we have a lot to get rid of. DD has a dental appointment at 1130, so we've got to run her there and possibly back to school for a little bit, but other than that, no other plans during the day. Tonight, we plan on taking the kids to the first drive-in of the summer. Unfortunately, we'll all be up late, but they have 1.5 days of school left, so I think it will be okay that they will be. They aren't doing anything anyway. It's always a fun family time and something we always look forward to!

Hope you all have a great day!

How great! Where’s the cabin Crown? We are currently booking a touring holiday for next year / maybe we can book to stay?

Quick check in from work - O'Malley is out of the dog house - the Health Unit closed our case.

Whew! Talk about a heavy weight being lifted. +f

Good morning MMC ~
It’s going to be warm and humid here today with chance of an afternoon shower. I just took Rocky for a walk, pretty sure he dislikes the humidity as much as I do! I don’t have too much planned for today. My oldest has off so we’re going to grab lunch and do some shopping. Other than that I will be working on my daily chores. I hope everyone is well and has a great day!!!
xx

Oh thank goodness, Auntie! Answered prayers there for sure! I’m sure you feel 110% better where that is concerned!

Maybe we should have a day when we INVITE "lurkers" to post and ask questions---sort of an Open House---Leon Day, maybe?

It CAN be kind of intimidating to break silence here. Not because we aren't welcoming, but because there's so much "history" behind many posts. It's a bit like like horning into a family conversation. I think it took me two or three years to drum up enough courage to post here.

Hooray! For O'Malley AND you.

DecemberisComing - Ive always been brought up with the notion that ' If You Dont Ask, You Will Never Know'........and maybe its the Welsh and Dragons Fire in me that gives me the courage to do it w

No stupid questions around here! See this link:

The Pines!

Thank you Brad for answering my question too!

And to everyone else - you all seem lovely so I had no hesitation in asking :)

Not much to report here for my day.

My TV box is caput! So I am unable to watch any TV for the next 5-7 days until the new box arrives. Most people would be put off by this but touch wood the internet is working fine, I have YouTube and it means I can make a conscious start on the cross stitch tablecloth for my grandmother as well as getting a fair amount of cleaning and decluttering done.

Took pupster out for his first long walk today too so he is now shattered and caught a glimpse of myself on husbands camera - I knew the camera added 10lbs but Im not sure how many cameras were on me! Good grief......a pre season kick up the bum is in order I think too.

MerryCArey - Im glad to hear your pooch is all clear.
