Morning MMCers!
We don't have CIJ here on our QVC - I'm so jealous though. Id love to have sat and watched a load of festive things today.

Its cooler here today and more overcast so at least we can relax and unwind a little but its still going to get up into the 20s I think.

A friend of mine is selling a bread maker so I said I will have it off her for £20 so I can start making some homemade bread which should be nice and save us a few pennies too.

My daughter is sat drawing at the minute, I've just had breakfast. Plans today now its cooler are
- finish tidying the garden up
- walk to pup - he has so much energy it needs burning off today since the last
few days have been too hot
- school uniform/work uniform washed and sorted.
- watch the MotoGp :) one of my favourite things.
- collect bread maker!

Homemade bread is so yummy and the smell of it baking is one of the best on Earth ~ enjoy!

The year is going by very fast! How is your garden doing? We've had way too much rain and it is forecast at 40 - 50 percent chances for more the next several days. My garden vegetables and trees don't look as happy as I was hoping they would, but the weeds are ecstatic. I pull what I can, but the mosquitoes are so many and so vicious that I can't stay out for more than a few minutes a day.

I was out all last week, and now I have to catch up at work. For some reason, no one does my job when I'm out. Hmmm.

The highlight of last week was playing golf at Trump National Golf Course in Washington DC. Wow! Talk about fancy! I've never had a caddy before, and it was great. He was very friendly, and gave us pointers on where to aim for, where the water hazards and sand traps were hiding, etc. He's even getting me a pin flag signed by the president! (Not trying to get into politics here; it's just a rare opportunity for me.)

I have to get to work soon LOL. I hope y'all have a great day! :D

It will be traveling to other cities—-maybe it’ll come to a city you can get to!

Hello Meceka...My Garden is comong along nicely my friend...Bumper crop of Strawberries and Tomatoes this year...Just planted a grape vine in the greenhouse so hoping i can make my own wine next summer:p....I am New to greenhouse growing Meceka..Totally different from growing in the Garden...I am soo ready now for Fall though Meceka..Bring it On!!:)

I got a new vehicle too back in January and since I haven’t been able to drive, it will be a new vehicle for me. I get my license back in a few weeks, praying my health stays well. I’m so excited!
 
Hello everyone! Hope everyone is well. For the first time ever, I watched the CIJ on QVC yesterday. Although, I realized quite quickly that I had to record it and then watch it on my own so I can fast forward through a lot of it. I'm sorry, but spending 25 minutes talking about a brownie or a cookie is a bit excessive! There are only so many adjectives you can use!! I did make a few small purchases though. It was nice to see some Christmas stuff; even if it was 89 degrees out! Today was a favorite of mine because our local Ballet company put their Nutcracker tickets on sale this morning at 10:00am. I always have it marked in my phone. What I don't like though, is that when I log on, immediately the first 9 or 10 rows are already sold out so they must do Pre-sales to "VIP" people, and clearly I am not "VIP" to them! I did get us tickets though. It is a tradition for us; one of my favorites. Problem is, my husband is getting laid off from his job in September (which is awful, he has been there 10 years and now they are shipping his job and about 50 others overseas) so hopefully he will have a new job by Christmas. Problem is, I don't know what his new job schedule would be; so he may not be able to go for the date I bought the tickets. If he can't go, I'll drag someone else with me and get tickets for me and him. It wouldn't be Christmas without "dragging" my hubby to the ballet with me; and if I get to go twice this year then that is just a bonus!
