Good Morning, and Happy November Christmas friends!
Our Halloween was doused in snow yesterday. We got 7+ inches in our area. It snowed all day. Most of our area does trick or treat the previous weekend, so we had some lovely weather for our trick or treat last Saturday.
We had so much fun with Halloween and both of my daughter's birthdays are on October 31st. We had a party with family last Sunday. All went well, but I am happy to move on to November.
Have a wonderful Friday, All!

Good Morning and Happy November from SoCal! It was 46 when I went food shopping this morning. The temp is supposed to be around 84 today. Picked up my mom at her hotel and went to breakfast.

We de-Halloweened the house last night leaving the Fall decorations up. Tomorrow when I get back form the airport we'll begin the Fall to Christmas makeover.

As usual, no trick-or-treaters at our house, which is always disappointing. We even have little ones across the road, we know they parents, and we still don't get any visitors.

All Christmas, all the time, in my car from now until satellite radio stops. DD was even singing along when I picked her up for lunch. She is out of school today for teacher training day.

Happy November and Merry Christmas!!! ;)
With all the rain, wind, and cold, the mall and churches were full of trick or treaters last night. Great time was had by all.
Even though it's only November, I have declared it Christmas season at my house. We'll start decorating in two weeks. I can't wait.
Have a blessed Friday everyone!!! :)

Several of my friends with children went to the Mall to trick-or-treat due to the weather. It wasn't too messy until about 6:30-7:00 so most of them had started out early and were back home before it got too nasty out there.

When I walk in the door I can see my merry pedestal and it makes me smile. It's really a simple bit of jolliness, but it makes me heart glad.
I have my small potted pine and a lovely Hallmark Keepsake Father Christmas in white with a staff and black lantern and a reindeer with gold antlers with a red, green and gold blanket that are ornaments (the reindeer is bigger than Santa) and then my Peace figurine with Mary, Joseph and Baby Jesus affixed to it.

So jealous of the snow!! And jealous of the image you created in my mind of those snow-covered trees!

I kind of liked it before I had to dress for it and it took me 10 minutes or longer to clear the snow and ice off my vehicle.

-season- A browsing I will go … HoHoHo ...

I have a Christmas bazaar to go to tomorrow; sort of an annual thing for me, but it will be my third year without bringing my mom with me.

It's interesting when I see items that make me think of her or my God-Mother; the kind of presents they would have enjoyed receiving.

I only have about 4 more gifts to buy and then it will be wrapping time.

I have a new grandpuppy - a Yorkie - so O'Malley will have to get Stella a gift.

I feel dog tired tonight; sure hope I can stay awake and go to bed at a reasonable hour.

Laundry tomorrow or Sunday depends on how long I am at the bazaar and running errands.

Will be visiting my dad on Sunday because I cancelled on him last weekend so I could get more of my chores done.

It won't take long to tidy up my bedroom or clean the shower, tub and floor.

Stay Jolly! :snowball

All in all it's still good news because it might explain why he isn't eating and wanting to do his therapy.

Continued prayers for hope and that Ralph's treatment helps the brain heal as well.

Thank you so much, Auntie!

Happy Birthday to your daughters!

Merry Friday and Merry November 1st!

The neurology team looked at Ralph's charts/scans today and decided that although there is damage to the brain, it isn't as bad as thought. Ralph is basically causing his own problems by refusing to eat and drink more and denying his PT. I visited with him for over two hours and he told me he understood. I also watched him eat almost an entire PB & J sandwich and chocolate chip cookie and drink one and half cans of pop. He was in good spirits as his oncologist is amazed at how well the treatment is actually working. Today has been the most encouraging of days!

I just wanted to thank all of you for the positive thoughts and prayers ~ they really help!! xx

Two days left, Brent. Nov. 10 and 11. Which would you like?

I did not respond. Sorry. I am good with whichever?! I do not see an update since my last post, so if it's available, I'd say that November 11th would be best.

Whew! That sounds promising.

When my mom and husband weren't interested in eating; we managed to get them to take in some smoothies and/or boost to make sure they had proper nutrients.

I've been up since 3:30 and ready for a nap.

It's snowing again - light, but steady. :shiver

Sometimes it's nice to have snow when I'm browsing at the Christmas Craft Show.

My car is getting the snow tires put on with rims on Nov. 15th. I have really good tires with the best treads so I never bothered (they aren't all weather), but last year I found myself slipping too much for my liking so I'm going to make the switch.

Have a super Saturday! :lightman
