Hello FRIDAY! Get my car back day! YABBA!

I've been awake since 3:30 a.m. I was attempting to go back to sleep, but the numbness in my left hand - mainly the pinky and ring fingers was driving me crazy and I couldn't get comfortable. Still not working right; not sure what's going on there, I wasn't sleeping on my hand. The night before, I woke up with the prickly and tingly sleeping hand thing, but it didn't bother me at all the rest of the day.

I couldn't pick up my coffee cup so I switched hands. I'm left-handed, but I do more heavy things with my right so I should function okay. Guess I'll appreciate that wee pinky a bit more once I realize how useful it is. My uncle lost two fingers at the first and second knuckle in a work related mishap. He used to be repair planes at the airport. I can be relieved that it's nothing serious.

There's no pain, it's just like rubber; weird. The B-12 should fix it up if it's any kind of vitamin deficiency.
Try sleeping with a physical therapy glove on the afflicted hand...

We had quite a bit of snow overnight. The wind gusts are strong as well and I spotted two broken thin branches of the tree I can see from the kitchen window. There is a sugar-snow frosting on top of the cedar trees and shrubs. Even the naked tree looks a bit more festive with the now on the branches. No footprints in the untouched snow on the ground. No snow plows out yet which is odd, but I doubt there's more than two inches. There is a plow clearing a new spa business on the corner.

Snow should subside later in the day and we're expecting good weather over the weekend; although it could be cold.

The local Santa Claus parade is this Sunday.

Have a fantastic Friday - and oh, by golly have a merry day! -reindeer-

P.s. Now the plow is clearing the road I need to navigate to get to work.

TGIF everybody!!!
Our Christmas decorating starts tonight after we shop for groceries or in the morning after a good nights rest. Either way, I'm so excited!!!

Have a blessed day and weekend.

You have a blessed day and weekend, too, Rich!

Good Friday morning! After this work day I get to enjoy another 9 days of vacation, during which we will put up our Christmas tree!

Have a great day everyone!

WHOOOWEEE!

Merry Friday MMC ~
I’m fighting off a migraine this morning. I have a chiropractor appointment later so maybe that will help. I’m going to run a couple of errands afterward. I will probably take it easy later this afternoon, I just plan on working on the laundry. I’ll give myself a break from cooking dinner as well, think I’ll order pizza. I hope everyone has a nice day and a wonderful weekend ahead!!!
xx

Hope the chiropractor can eliminate some of that migraine for you.

The ticking clocks are driving me bonkers, but it's only a dull ache, but I appreciate what it feels like to be troubled by them; that's for sure.

Hope you feel better, HMG! My SIL suffers from migraines and they sound so awful..hope you can get some rest!

Hope you feel better, HMG! (((hugs)))

Praying you are better soon, HmG! xx

Thank you so much my friends, I’m feeling a bit better.

Well, well, well....

The first weekend of the Christmas seasons? Plans, anyone?

This afternoon, we will have a fire in the fire pit and a big ol' hamburger on the grill. Most of this weekend will be spent preparing our little family for a trip to Disney. I'm so excited for my kids that I can hardly stand it.

Y'all have a great Friday. See y'all this afternoon or in the morning for coffee!

Sounds like fun for you. Can't wait to hear all about the excitement of the Disney trip.

I have plans - too many to cram into the weekend, but I shall endure and get it all done.
I have to head out of town 40 minute drive both ways to pick up a prize I won at a craft show a few weekends ago. Not sure what it is only that they have my name and a prize to go with it. I put my name in a few times on about a dozen different items.
I was going to get my haircut, if I can get there by 11:00, I'll do it. There's also a festival of trees at the museum not far from where I would be getting my hair cut. I'll take a look at that; I think the lights I bought for the tree should be set out as well unless they're waiting for the Old Fashioned Downtown Walk on the 29th to do it.

O'Malley the cat is down to his last two half servings of moist food. Got my car back from the mechanic just in time.

The old hub caps didn't fit so the snow tires and my black GT make it look like I'm driving a small gangster car. HaHa.

Rebel Auntie will be on the loose this weekend.

Parade on Sunday. Have to pick up stamps for my cards.

Grocery shopping to do and RX to pick up, hopefully squeeze in a visit with my dad.

I'm tired just thinking about it; I'll make like a bee and buzz about to get it done.

Hope you get it figured out and start feeling better soon! (((hugs)))

It's still not 100% normal, but not as rubbery as it was this morning. The ring finger is back to normal. I'll have to be more aware of my position during the night to see if I'm causing any circulation loss. Thanks.

I had the same numbness in my pinky and ring fingers. I was told it was Cubital Tunnel Syndrome, similar to the more famous Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. I was told it was caused by my elbow on the desk with my chin in my hand, and sleeping with my arm behind my head. I wrapped my elbow at night with an Ace bandage for a long time, and I've forced myself to remember not to put my elbows on the desk. It's gotten better, and certainly not worth surgery now.

give it a try!

Well, I don't lean on my elbows, but it could still link to a reason. I was telling O'Malley that the small lump in my arm was aching last night and I wonder if it's causing a bit of nerve damage in that area. He didn't care, but was wondering why the shadow of my arm was after him. It's interesting when you look at something from a small creatures perspective and understand why he sometimes feels the need to attack. He seemed very concerned about the length of my arm and I reassured him that it was just my shadow, turned off the dining room light and the shadow disappeared.

It hasn't grown in size and it's usually not painful so I was just going to mention it to the doctor when I seem next month. My husband had a similar thing in the back of his neck, but it was bigger and it never really restricted his movements. He had it removed twice and then just gave up on it as it kept coming back.

I'll give your trick a try.

I went to our Friday card party today. Tonight I'm going to a magic show and the guy is supposed to be very good. I'll sleep in tomorrow, for sure. A friend is coming over tomorrow afternoon to watch a Christmas movie. Don't know which one it will be yet. I recorded the 2019 Hallmark movies that have come out. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

TGIF, Christmas friends!

Wow, it's wet! All those months of complaining about how dry it was, and now we're plumb soggy LOL.

I finally got Elizabeth's car out of the shop. They've had it since Wednesday morning...for a front-end alignment! I was a little out of character yesterday afternoon, and let them know for sure how displeased I was with the whole thing. They called first thing this morning to say it was ready, and that the cost would be the original $80, not the $195 they were trying to foist upon me. Nice!

I'm looking forward to getting my truck, Rocky Balboa, back from my daughter.

Yes, my truck's name is Rocky.

Because it's awesome.

I hope y'all have a great day! :D

Depends on whom I'm talking to; my car is either Joe Black or Mojo. I can say, "Let's go Joe!" or "I've got my MOJO working" either will be appropriate with the new battery.

I'm sure Gonna Fly Now or Eye of the Tiger will make it to the song flu of my mind.

@sugar142286, you're welcome. Have fun preparing the Thanksgiving feast tomorrow!

@AuntieMistletoeDear, I hope your finger feels better soon. Have fun in your travels tomorrow!

@HomemakinGirl, I'm glad you are feeling a bit better. Praying you will be 100% better! xx

@KimB, have fun at the magic show and watching the Christmas movie with your friend!

Thank you; fingers are back to normal function this morning. I noticed a few times that I had my left hand in a fist a few times and I also stuck it under my jaw and kept repositioning it so I could keep it straight.

Yesterday evening we were out shopping at Christmas Tree Shop and parked next to a red car with a vanity license plate: RALFIE.

That's a Merry sighting.

Scut Farkus' mom is a friend of mine; she was at my dads when we were going through old family photos to pick out the ones we wanted to share at the celebration of life for my mom. Pam got up to share two of her funny stand up bits that my mom enjoyed from her Pamelot album.

Pam also has been in a few Hallmark films: The Twelve Trees of Christmas, Holiday Affair, Christmas Song and other films some of which she lent her voice to like Barbie in a Christmas Carol and Moira for the Neverending Story ('95 edition), etc.

If I was going to have a vanity plate, it would simply read "STAY JOLLY"
