Just returned from my dads decided to sleep in my own bed tonight and finish tracking Santa.

Had a great visit and tomorrow I can relax, watch Christmas movies or listen to a bunch of music I got from my brother and coast through the merry day and then I'll pop back over to see my dad on Boxing Day.

My dad didn't do presents this year, but gave my brother and I items that were gifts my mom received over the years that we would both make use of and enjoy.

We had to open our gifts tonight because my brother is heading back home early tomorrow morning.

I just gave O'Malley his Christmas Eve dinner and ten minutes later he was asking for his treats.

Now he's resting on his big bed.

I am tired, but want to try and watch one last Christmas flick before I go to sleep.

The luminaries worked out fine on both sides of the street and continued all the way up for four city blocks.

We took photos at the mansion on the corner and the family there loved out merry outfits.

My brother was dressed as Santa, his friend as an Elf and myself - well I guess you'd say an elf of a different kind.

-santa- MERRY CHRISTMAS, EVERYONE! -mistletoe-

+b Crown's merry break is at hand.

We can still chat throughout the week and then those that can will gather on New Year's Eve to close out this thread and make way for the new countdown launch for 2020.

Stay jolly - especially today; it's Christmas Day!+i

Just settling in for my long winter's nap. After the family had our traditional Christmas Eve dinner and gift exchange at my mother-in-law's, we all went to church together. Our family have been active members of the same congregation for over 90 years and to contemplate how the world has changed in that time yet Christmas Eve worship together has been a constant, an anchor...amazing. Merry Christmas and Blessings on You All!

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!

My first Christmas day as a member of this site, and it is really something to see the main countdown timer standing at zero. I took a minute to just briefly recap the year in my mind. My wife is still sleeping, the only light on in the house is our full-size Christmas tree in the living room, this monitor, and the small, two-foot "all year" tree in the corner of this room. Just a quiet time for reflection and thankfulness.

I hope everyone has a wonderful and blessed Christmas Day! I will be taking a small break from the internet, as i do every time this year. I have seen from some posts above, that we will gather together on this thread on New Year's eve, to close it out before the 2020 countdown thread begins. That is sure to be fun, and that's when i plan on coming back to message boards, etc..

I'm glad for this site. I'm glad to be able to be somewhere where I feel "OK" telling other people that even though it just became Christmas Day 2019, i am already thinking forward to next year, especially the countdown as we pursue our significant dates and milestones! Merry Christmas to all and see you guys again in about a week :)

Wishing all a wonderful Merry Christmas. I hope your day is filled with family and friends. Thanks to everyone for all the beautiful cards from all over the globe. They totally filled my Santa holders and are spilling over onto shelves.

Have a great day all!

MERRY CHRISTMAS, EVERYONE!!

And thus, I begin my weekly break from countdowning!
(Ah. Just think of the sleep!!)
But, not to worry. I will be in and out and planning the launch of Christmas Countdown 2020! That will be a leap year, meaning one more day to count before the Season and Christmas!
