Oh happy days, went to Michaels yesterday and they are putting up the Christmas villages and such over there!!!! Bring on Christmas!
 
:whisper: You know what they say, Binger - one good Opera deserves another! Can Jay get a new leotard for this one?

Hot and humid today - heard people complain about the 87 temp so I reminded them about the -40 we experienced in February just to cool them off and then of course I reminded them how many days there were until Christmas. (Got the glare eyes.)

Inquiring mind - O'Malley the cat is back to his old feral-cat self now. No more toys that contain catnip for my buddy - he can't handle it.

Christmas - what a wonderful word!

:elf: Wonder if Santa has the elves working on my wish list yet.

I just found out that two young ladies that work for me both have horses. One has three and a pony, the other has eight horses. I told them about my conversation with Santa here and how he didn't think I was ready to have one yet. They laughed.

I checked the with the city and discovered there's no by-law that says I can't have a horse in the city, it just isn't very safe.

I love horse's too! I grew up with horses... use to barrel race in 4-H... now my kids take riding lessons :) I would love to one day own my very own horse again, but its not the "right" time for me either...
 
Oh Ok Cedar, I will sit in the sidelines while you sing in the opera and Jay does his dancing, I'll be the one behind the camera. Would almost be like Charlie Brown and the gang or maybe Spanky and the gang, dont know which. All in all will be amusing to watch.
Ya the lava lamp is a keeper. lol

You got it Renn my friend! I suggest you bring your YURT, since some of us are and always will be Christmas forum nomads, we can keep the extra set of leotards for Jay, change of scenery, plethera of costumes, hay for Carl in it...and other necessities. I'll bring my collection of dusty wigs...
 
ok ok- extra leotard for Jay... order extra lava for the Cedar lamp... lens cleaner for Rena.... softer pillor for Crown ( the star in all of my Operas....though Jay and his Paus Du Lux is a necessity as is the beautiful Cedar and her Dusty Wig..)- hmmmm I think the setting should be in florida... who went there recently?
 
Hey Scrooge... any chance we can get some props from the store? Vivarin for Crown would be a necessity.... and perhaps a setting further North would be in order... I hear there's great beauty up North... hmmmmm
 
We are getting close, 144 days until Christmas day.

But only 111 days until the lights come on!!!

Hey Bing why Florida> This Opera is getting closer to Christmas time now and its hard to have Christmas without snow or at least a dusting of snow, don't think you'll get that in Florida. lol

Hey Cedar m/f, the yurt is on its way. I ordered a biggggggggg one as i know there will have to be lots of room to store all that coffee also. Can't forget the coffee.

Renna- 4 some reason I am thinking Florida.... someone is visiting there and they give me inspiration for OPERA... though up North also gives me inspiration... Florida for the sleeping aspect... North for the beauty....
 
HEY Scrooge... thanks for the Viviran.... it will work in well with the Opera... I use coffee.... but the star of the Opera... they are always sleeping....
 
Good Morning Friends!...Renn, my friend...how did I forget the coffee? That's like forgetting to breathe. See?..we work well together! Oh, the sheer bliss of it all...sublime...yes, I have a feeling this Opera will be sublime.
 
Yippee its August! Only 3 more months before I can decorate!!! I told hubby last night that he needs to stay home on Sat Nov 3rd to help me put up the 12 foot tree this year! My poor son and I did it last year and it was tough...

Ya, a day without coffee is like a day, welllllll maybe no day at all. Can't go without the coffee. mmmmmmm can smell it now.
 
Hey Renna- boy do I agree... java... all the time.. coffee... my motto as always is...

Coffee: you can sleep when you're dead!
