~Wow! 2 mattresses at once Crown? What self-control you had not to go out like a light right then and drive across all four lanes of traffic! Maybe they were trying to escape hurricane "Felix". Glad you made it home safe. Did Fox romp and play?

Renn, I've been to Roseburg! Sure hope you get those cataracs taken care of, definitely before Christmas! What with we do without dogs?? When their whole mission in life is to please us..look, I just rolled in dirt because I felt like it, aren't you happy?

Have a good one my friends!!!!

Yes, Cedar. Fox loves the beach. If we go out early with no one else there, we can take him off his leash and let him fly!

Thanks again for handling countdown duties while I was away!

TWO Mattresses.. you must have made a right turn into Crown heaven......

AWESOME countdown duties handled by Cedar while Crown was asleep on the coast!! I do believe an Opera might in store...

It was a dark and stormy night and as Crown lay asleep ( a common theme in all Operas..)....

Hi Scrooge! Yep, glad you are back Crownster. Who else could we kid as much? O Boy! A NEW OPERA! Yes!! We are so lucky...a genuis in residence.

Oh what a site that would have been, seeing Crown going down the road on those two mattresses and having his auto tied to the tailgate of the ole trailer, his passengers would be hanging out the windows trying to wake Crown up. I bet they when they got to their destination they would have found good use for those big pieces of driftwood that they had stowed away in the trunk of the car. They would have poured the old coffee down Crowns throat to make sure he was awake enough to remember every hit. lol
I had a wonderful sugar free blended coffee today and they even made it with half the caffine for me. mmmmmmmmmmmmm. Could have had it with no caffine but then it wouldnt have been coffee.

Cedar, if you ever get down this way again, yell and maybe we can get together and meet. Would be cool.

You got it Renn! Yes, cool it would be.

Good Morning Christmas Pals O' Mine!!

Wake-up Crown, it's Hump day!

69 days to the Season
111 days to Christmas Day.
Closer. Ever closer!

Good Morning to all friends of Christmas (and to all wide-eyed coffee addicts).
It's bright, sunny and 69 here in Raleigh. Great walking weather if it weren't for the desire to sleep!
But our hot weather continues into another month. Looks like mid 90's for most of this week. We are also parched.
(I'm afraid to step on the grass - the blades might snap off!)
It's times like this when Christmas seems so far away. I need a little cool spell to get me in the mood.

Have a Wonderful Wednesday / Happy Hump Day, everyone!
........And don't forget to keep that Christmas song in your heart.

Hey, Cedar! Posts within 1 minute.
We are in the groove again this morning!

Cooler nights, low hanging fog in the morning, Sandhill Cranes talking to one another, last cutting of hay (3rd), trees turning, crickets, cobwebs, pumpkins, behind a school bus....FALL!

And where's Binger? Sleeping off a coffee hangover?
Naw! Bing never sleeps - you can't drink coffee when you sleep. (Or CAN they??)

Yea, where IS our Bing? Probably pouring coffee all over themselves, getting ready for work....

Yeah.
It takes time to lick that stuff off of clothing.

Goodmorning everyone (it's 0007hrs here) !!!

Cedar - must be nice. We just had a 90F day, with the promise of rain later today. The bugs are getting really nasty. I'm getting so that I drive around with a can of bug repellant in the car. I am definitely looking forward to fall this year.

No coffee for me, it's time to turn in.

A song to turn in with: Danny Wright - Just Wright - Silver Bells

See you all later.

Hello my friends!

Sad start to the day, Pavarotti has died. Go to You Tube and listen to him sing "Nessun Dorma"...but hang on to your heart.
Then scroll down and watch James Brown & Pavarotti sing "This is a Man's World", fully orchestrated...incredible...just incredible.

I never cared much for opera (Binger's excepted!) but liked Pavarotti. Incredible voice. Sad to see him gone.

68 days to the Season
110 days to Christmas Day.

I'm a bit late today. No, I did not oversleep (although I would have liked to!). For some reason, the site froze up and would not let me in for a while(??)

Another couple of hot days (mid 90's) then down into the 80's for the weekend. That should be a nice change.
Let's hope that new system out in the Atlantic doesn't get too strong.

Have a Thrilling Thursday, my Christmas friends!

(Where is Der-BEANger?)

PLEASE do not blame this site freezing up on your climbing outof bed at 11:00AM.. PLEASEEEE... I mean.. how embarassing....
