DAYS TO HALLOWEEN : 40
DAYS TO OCTOBER 1ST: 10
DAYS TO HALLOWEEN SEASON : 1

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Today is the very last day for this entire '21 countdown that will include "Days to Halloween Season". It's GONE tomorrow, as Halloween Season officially begins. Then it will be down to just the "Big 2", days to Halloween, and Days to October 1st. And speaking of Days to October 1st, TOMORROW marks SINGLE DIGITS in that count. Pretty scary indeed.

Hoping to have the "full" schedule in the next few days for AMC's Fear Fest, and SyFy's 31 days of Halloween. Their twitter's have teased some big movies, but so far we have not yet gotten a complete listing. It really seems like they are pulling out the stops, though. Does anyone remember a few years ago when AMC had really "lame" movies on as part of their Fear Fest? I remember seeing Spider Man, and Independence Day as part of the Fear Fest lineup. I tweeted out my disappointment and quickly learned I was not alone.

Have a great day, friends! Tomorrow this time Halloween Season will have already been started!

Can't wait to light up a Jack-O-Lantern. Halloween season, here we come!

Freeform's 31 Nights of Halloween Schedule is out.

Started out strong, but then I saw "Mrs. Doubtfire" on the schedule, and while that's a terrific movie in its own right, it is not what I'd consider a Halloween movie.

Nor is "Men in Black," "Pirates of the Caribbean," or "X-Men."

Pretty awesome that they're showing "Hocus Pocus" almost every day though. "Casper" not so much.

YES!! X-men was part of "Fear fest" several years back. How dismal!!

Now you are never going to believe this, nobody in this thread will, but it is the truth, and that is, I have never saw Hocus Pocus. EVER.

That is something that has to change. My wife has saw it a million times. I tell people all the time, and they can't believe it!

We've already watched Hocus Pocus once this September. We'll watch it again a few more times. Love that movie.

I have been really hammering out the halloween and horror movies the last week or two. I figure i got so many of these streaming services i should take advantage of it. I enjoyed seeing the harvest moon last night. It was somewhat cloudy so it had that creepy look to it. It will be great to officially kick off the Halloween season in here tomorrow.

It's quite good, if not just a tad overrated. I think nostalgia is the main draw. Don't get me wrong though: It should still be required Halloween viewing every year.

I'm not looking forward to the sequel though.

DAYS TO OCTOBER 1ST: 9

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Welcome to Autumn (Officially)! Welcome to HALLOWEEN SEASON!

The counts above confirm it and Edge rang in the good news earlier this morning.

It's just these two remaining counts now, and in nine days, we will be just down to ONE. We won't see the full range of countdown markers again for a while. In November we will go back to having two, and that will grow back to FIVE counts in January, and SIX, if you count the "honorary" countdown to JOL Days, on the months that have one!

If anyone was waiting for "official" word that we are in Autumn, before deciding to decorate, etc.. Here is the announcement! Have a great day!

Good Morning Halloween Friends! The old saying goes that "It's lonely at the top". Well these countdowns are getting kind of lonely. Pretty soon we are going to be down to just ONE. Thank goodness it is Halloween Season now and we won't mind the dwindling counts as much.

Last night, we watched ITKWD (In the Kitchen with David) on QVC, and then afterwards watched an hour or so of David's Countdown to Christmas. So many feels. I always feel like a kid again when they bring out the Christmas Trees and the nostalgic porcelain trees. Very great evening! And the best thing is there will be more and more evenings like that as we get further into the Holiday Season as a whole.

Have a great day!
