Halloween 2021 Countdown!

OK, WAIT JUST A MINUTE!!!

How did I not know about this thread?
Did I miss an announcement/notification somewhere?
Ever since @SolidSnake84 started talking about the Halloween 2021 countdown and Jack-O-Lantern Day in the previous thread, I have been looking forward to this one.
My virtual life feels so incomplete now that I know I've been missing out.
If it wasn't for @The_Escalation mentioning this thread in the Thanksgiving thread this morning, I may have never of found it.

OK, time to get caught up... I've got 5 pages of posts to read.

BTW, Happy Milestone Day! I love the Halfoween celebration idea.

Hey @Rich ! I just thought maybe you were busy with other stuff this time of the year, as me and you did talk in the old thread that we had the expectation that a lot more people would tune into the Halloween countdown once Christmas passed. In fact we even mentioned that we expected it to be a little quiet in here at the get go, but would pick up steam as we got into 2021 and kept rolling. Either way, glad to have you here now! The more the merrier! And Happy milestone day!

OK. I'm all caught up now.
But I still feel like I missed so much. I've got to pay attention better.

I know we're still in the Bers. But you have to admit. There are 3 different Bers feels.
1. The Sep-Oct Bers.
2. The Nov Bers.
3. The Dec Bers.

This thread gives me the #1 feels. There's nothing else like it.

And now look at that count!
We're just 3 days away from breaking in the 200's until October.
That is so exciting!

Yes, 100% i do agree with you on #1 and #2. To me, the Bers sort of "end" in December because the Christmas aura takes over everything, there are decorations up everywhere now across the homes and businesses. Even for a hardcore Christmas nut like me, who keeps up a tree all year long, I stand in awe each year of December and its mighty Christmas power / feels.

It's my hope that Jack O Lantern Day covers the "feels" for The Sep-Oct Bers. I think Tom Turkey Day is going to do fine for getting our dose of #2 Nov Bers. And Rudolph Day / Rudolph Day Eve always delivers for the December / Christmas feeling.

I can't wait for that first JOL Day. I have a pumpkin candy dish I keep in a drawer at work. On each JOL Day (Actually I'll do it on the Friday before for the first one) I'll fill it with some candy to snack out of it throughout the day.

Did anyone ever see the "Nightmare before Christmas?" I think it's a part Halloween/Christmas show in 1? I never saw it though. Have a great day!

Good Morning Halloween friends!

Did you think I almost forgot about the count today? As If! I am just a little bit later posting this morning than normal, but not to worry, all is well!

We have now entered into the 140's on the Days to Halfoween count, and stand at just one day before the all important 300 days to October 1st!

That's a lot to be excited about tomorrow, and I can't wait! Those counts just seem to flow different once you get out of the 300's.

I have not seen it nor do I want to. After sitting thru Corpse Bride I vowed to never watch another Tim Burton animated movie. Just not my style.

Oh, Rich...you watched them backwards! If you'd started with "Nightmare Before Christmas" and then moved on to "Corpse Bride," you would have seen that "Nightmare" is the superior film! Still Tim Burton though, and still animated...so maybe your opinion wouldn't change much, but I think everyone should give it a shot at least once!

Maybe it's because we're in the "bonus months" but this Halloween count is speeding by! I can't wait to be in the 200s until October 1st. And by the time 2021 rolls around we will almost be out of the 300s for Halloween!

Good Morning! And Happy Milestone Day! That's right, we have reached the mighty 300 days to October 1st milestone! We are continuing to chip away at our counts and all show amazing progress. "Days to Halloween" is still stubbornly hanging on in the 330's, but after Christmas season, it will be like magic one day when we wake up and notice that suddenly, the count is in the 200's!

I hope everybody enjoys this milestone day! I might cheat, and listen to just one song from my Halloween playlist. I don't want to over-indulge, I really want to keep the separation from "this time" which is Christmas Season everywhere, and the aura / vibe of Halloween / Jack O Lantern Day. That will be coming around again sooner than we realize. Happy Thursday!

And just like that, we're at 300 days until October 1st. That is the beauty of these milestone days. I love having something to celebrate. Seems like the 65 days since October have flown by (because we're in the bonus months).

Waking up tomorrow and seeing the count break into the 200s will be a real treat.

I am still working on the Halloween candy that of course was purchased for the non-existent trick or treaters--and every time I snitch a piece, I feel a little Halloween zing.

Good Morning and Happy Friday!

FINALLY the "Days to October 1st" count has moved out of the 300's. It's really something to see, when those countdowns make a move like that. "Days to Halloween" now is the only one still holding on, but that is ok, as Monday, January 4th is when we will hit 300 days on that one! So we have happy new year, a lot to look forward to in 2021, and a milestone day all within the same stretch of time.

There is also something additional being added to the count, so stay tuned!
