Halloween 2021 Countdown!

I put my Christmas decorations up on November 1st; I see no reason why we couldn't put up Halloween decorations on September 1st. At least that's a little closer to right now.

Good Morning Folks! It would seem that in my eagerness to count, somehow I got our "Days to Halfoween" Count messed up about three pages ago. I went back and edited the posts, and double checked this morning, and we are on track again. It seems the error came when I coped the text file from the previous day somewhere in the 130's count to Halfoween! We know show ONLY 108 DAYS to Halfoween!
Hope you guys have a great Tuesday. How great it is to have correct numbers again! So Sorry!

So the error resulted in us having LESS days until Halfoween? That's an error you don't need to apologize for! That's great news!
Alright, Tuesday just felt like the right day to do this, so here we go: Time for the Seasonal Candy of the Week!
This week I'm going with a new offering from Hershey's that I haven't had the pleasure of trying just yet, but they look promising. Meltaway Chocolate "Roses" (really just Kisses wrapped in a rose-design foil).
The packaging is pretty clever, and I think these will hold up better than the chocolate lava cake kisses. I prefer the velvety chocolate inside to a runny chocolate liquid, but we shall see.
So...any volunteers who want to present a Seasonal Candy of the Week next week?

Yes that's correct. Somewhere in the 130's count, instead of going down into the 120's, i started back in the 130's again.... I noticed it this morning because I remembered that beginning next week we will celebrate milestones essentially once a week through the end of the month. And the Halfoween count just looked..odd. So when i googled it, that's when i realized the error. But either way we are on schedule again!

So actually in September, I have always put out my scarecrow and pumpkin decorations, as well as set up my little display with dried corn stalks and fresh hay bales! Although i guess they count as more "fall" than true Halloween....
I'm a math "wiz" (not to brag)...but that's one of the few things I excel at lol.

Exactly ONE WEEK from today, we will celebrate 100 DAYS TO HALFOWEEN. I think that is indeed fine news as we are almost at mid-January.
We are enjoying fine weather so far, all things considered, so I believe the fact that we aren't fighting horrible cold is what is helping keep the "worst" of this month at bay. In just a few more days, we will be over the "hump" and going down the hill. Our lovely "trio" of special days await us in the final week of the month! Have a great day!

Yep, and thank goodness for playoff football. That's one of the few things that helps me stay in a Bers state of mind as we trudge through January. Of course it's better when I can actually cheer for my team in the playoffs, but being in the NFC "Least," perhaps they try harder.
Halfoween really is going to be special once we get there. Not to sabotage the Halloween thread, but I'm thinking we will hit Halfoween just as Hobby Lobby begins to put out th the first batch of Christmas craft items. Or at least that's my hope. Then things will really start to pick up.
