Pepsi Blue is...gross. I tried it the first time around and was not impressed. I'll have to give it a second chance and see if the re-release tastes different than I remember.

Another one to stay away from: Pepsi Holiday Spice. It sounds like it would be good. It was not.

Crystal Pepsi is where it's at.
I've never heard of Pepsi Blue or Pepsi Holiday Spice, but yuck. Diet Pepsi is my drink.

I used to drink diet Dr. Pepper, then switched to Coke Zero for a fuller taste. Now that they have Dr. Pepper Zero out, I'm all about that. If I see Pepsi Holiday Spice, I want to try it. It just doesn't sound that good. But you never know until you try it.

Dr. Pepper Zero is THE stuff. I could easily down a whole 2-liter unchecked if I'm not careful.

I used to love Dr. Pepper TEN as well, but it was near impossible to find.
Actually, I don't really like any soda, they ALL burn to me. I am definitely a wimp.
Consider yourself lucky; they are not good for you. I have quit soda several times but I always end up going back to it eventually, especially after a stressful day at work. It's like my "alcohol" since I don't drink alcohol.

Morning Halloween Fans! Anyone pick out their Halloween costume yet? I know you can laugh but you know in about 2 months we'll start seeing those first signs already? Crazy. Have a great day!
I know my picture probably gives it away but I am thinking about going as Lucy Van Pelt if I can find the green mask and a red hat!

I forgot all about Dr. P TEN. I used to drink that too.
I wonder what else I've forgotten?

DAYS TO HALLOWEEN : 164
DAYS TO OCTOBER 1ST: 134
DAYS TO JOL DAY: 11

Good Morning Halloween Friends! It's Thursday once again, and honestly ever since we started the new Halloween Countdown for this year, Thursdays have always reminded me of the excitement of one of those lovely October weekends we always talk about. I would always look in the TV Guide and see the movie lineup for the approaching weekend, so I would know what channels I wanted to binge!

Well there's no October weekend this weekend, but next weekend, well that's a little different story. "Dark Arts Sunday" on Sunday the 30th, and then of course Jack O Lantern Day #3 on Monday, which also just happens to be Memorial Day, and the official beginning of the road back to The Bers. And most of us will have that day off, so It's hard to not think of the Holidays when you have a day off!

Have a great Thursday!

I went to HEB yesterday during my lunch break, and these caught my eye:

Now I get that this isn't a "true" Halloween sighting. HEB most likely sells these cookies all year, but the packaging made my heart skip a beat, because even for the slightest moment I thought "IT'S HAPPENING!"

Then I calmed down and realized it was not, in fact, happening just yet. But oh, the FEELS!

I would have felt the same way. I'm so ready.

Nice find. I saw red, white, blue M&Ms and one of those in-store fireworks displays..

DAYS TO HALLOWEEN : 163
DAYS TO OCTOBER 1ST: 133
DAYS TO JOL DAY: 10

Good Morning Halloween fans! It's finally Friday again! Not the beginning of an October weekend that we always love and dream about, but we will kind of have that vibe next weekend, as I always feel like 3 day weekends have that "holiday" vibe.

Just 10 days away now from JOL Day! This time next week we will all be getting ready for the wonderful 3 day weekend. I've got Dark Arts Sunday & JOL Day #3 to keep me busy next week. NEXT WEEK is going to be a great week on these boards, and for once, I can hardly wait for Monday!

Have a great Friday, friends!

DAYS TO HALLOWEEN : 162
DAYS TO OCTOBER 1ST: 132
DAYS TO JOL DAY: 9

Good Morning and Happy Saturday! It's a big weekend here I think, the last weekend before Memorial Day Weekend, which is the start of summer, and our official start back to the The Bers. With everything coming up over the next week, I don't even dread Monday. It's gonna be a great week. Monday is of course a BIG DAY, followed later in the week by Dark Arts Sunday, and then finally, JOL Day # 3 to close out the month on Memorial Day. And with most of us off work, It will really feel like a Holiday. And that's good, because it is.

Single digits now on the JOL Day count. I don't want to jump too far ahead, but at the conclusion of JOL Day #3 on May 31st, we will have only TWO more remaining for the season! Im getting the feels right now just thinking about the whole ambience of the "final" Jack O Lantern Day in August. The receding heat, the return of cool nights, and the ceramic "Halloween Tree" that I get out every August 1st, which sits on my dining room table un-lit the entire month, but then symbolically turning on that evening along with the electric Jack O Lantern, to really signify that we are gonna wake up the next day and be BACK IN THE BERS.

Ok Ok, I'm getting ahead of myself! Have a great weekend!

I think my pumpkin plants are ready for the move into their big containers, and hopefully in 110 days they will be fully grown and ready for Fall and Halloween! I have never tried to grow pumpkins from containers but fingers crossed I will be able to get two-4 really nice vines.

Okay, I am so EXCITED I can hardly stand it. We have a haunted house here that opened just for today for Halfoween. They know they are late but most mask restrictions were finally lifted so they celebrating it. Cool, right? And they will be open again in August for Friday the 13th. If that isn't YABBA, I don't know what is. Of course, I won't go because I am not a haunted house kinda girl (usually), but that is beside the point, it is a Halloween fix regardless!
