You know what? Pumpkin flavored waffles with a pumpkin on one side would taste great.
Believe it or not, the little thing came with a recipe book bigger than it is! LOL! Luckily one of the recipes is for Pumpkin Waffles!!! I will be sure to post my first batch!

So jealous. It is adorable!
I am hoping it is not a one, and done purchase like some of my other kitchen gadget purchases have been. It says it only takes 3 tablespoons of batter to make one waffle, it may be a lot of work to feed a few!

Happy Thursday, Halloween friends! It really feels like it should be Friday. Folks, we are rapidly approaching the LAST weekend before Christmas. That is almost enough to cause a sense of panic.

With no immediate milestones on the horizon for Halloween or October, this is the time where we sort of just "hunker down" and let Christmas season and what's left of the bonus months do their thing.

One nice thing, this warm weather is conjuring up lots of memories and feels for October when I go outside! Have a great day!

This is exactly what I was thinking this morning. It feels like things are in the "winding down" stage as far as Christmas is concerned. Next week for me will be a mostly quiet week up until the 23rd when my hype for Christmas Eve and Christmas takes over. As for what comes after that...well, let's just say I'll be back here enthusiastically counting down again.

You may be right but at least it was on sale. A few years ago at an after Easter sale, I bought a Peeps pancake pan. Thought it was cool but have yet to use it.

I don't think I could have resisted buying a Peeps pancake pan! Maybe 2022 will be the year you use it!

Happy Friday, Halloween Friends! It was a hard fought victory to get to today. Emotionally I'm a little down that December is wrapping up, but yet the week started slowing down around Wednesday. A strange mix of emotions.

This weather is helping though to keep thoughts of October in the forefront. But it looks like in a few days we are going to be back to more seasonable weather! Keep October thoughts in your head today, at least a few! And try to remember how awesome October weekends are. Every time we reach the weekend, I always think back to those October weekends we know and love.

Have a great day!

Morning Halloween Fans! Feeling Friday today? Or Feeling Spooky? I know that I'm feeling both. The weather still feels like October weather not December (but that's coming). Have a great day!

I am definitely feeling them Fall and spooky Halloween vibes today. We have a warm, foggy day today and it is supposed to last until noon.

Good Morning Halloween Friends, and Happy Saturday! The thought just crossed my mind that NEXT WEEK at this time, Santa has already made it down the chimney here. My Mood? Being that it will be early, everything is still on cloud 9. We'd be headed down to my Grandma's at this time for Christmas Morning Breakfast. Mid-day we would return home for a while, before coming back down that evening to have Christmas dinner. Ugh. I don't even want to think about the evening. So I won't anymore today, lol.

Yesterday my best friend shared a video with me from You Tube of the filming locations from the 1989 version of "Pet Sematary". They went and visited the locations presently, it was pretty cool, and it got me immediately in a Fall mind state for a few minutes. I never usually venture too much into "Halloween stuff" this time of year, but it's almost like Halloween is calling out to me again. An odd feeling but not an entirely unpleasant one.

I'm going out to the grocery stores firs thing this morning, I have no idea what to expect. I'm not worried about Covid or anything, I'm more worried about bare shelves and absolute pandemonium! Tune back in tomorrow to see if I survived my trip into town today! :) Have a great day!

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Yesterday I was really surprised at the grocery store. It was just so *normal*. No outages or shortages of any items, it really wasn't even that busy. It could have been just another "normal" weekend. That really blew me away, because I figured to see at least some sort of pandemonium, but alas, it never came.

This time next week, I will probably begin work on finalizing my Jack O Lantern Day plans, it will be a fun little activity, and will help keep my mind off (any) PCB's that may come that last, awful week of December. Last year I didn't have any at all really, which was something new for me. I am hoping that they don't come again this year, but I am prepared just in case.

Again, no more milestones this month, but something pretty snazzy happens on Tuesday, along with my Wife's birthday, and the 1st day of winter. And that is seeing us only TWO WEEKS away from the 300 DAYS TO HALLOWEEN milestone!

Have a Happy Sunday folks!

Good Morning Halloween Friends! And Happy Monday! Happy CHRISTMAS WEEK! It's a week that lots of us have waited to arrive for a long time. While we were enjoying the arrival of The Bers, and Halloween Season, the anticipation of Christmas week was building up in the background. But now it's here. And even with that being said, our countdowns are still carrying on in the background. Tomorrow, on the first day of Winter, will mark only TWO WEEKS until the all-important 300 DAYS TO HALLOWEEN milestone day. Getting a count out of the 300's is a big deal.

And now, time for today's topic / question:

What is your favorite Halloween Candy / Food?

Mine is an easy answer. Reese's peanut butter ghosts and pumpkins, are my absolute favorite. If I can find ghosts or pumpkins in white chocolate, even better. We make sure to keep our little cauldron stocked with them during "Halloween Season", and even during "Christmas Season" when the pumpkins and ghosts yield over to Christmas trees.

Have a great day, friends!

I think last time I answered this, I said my favorite Halloween candy was the bite-sized Milky Way Midnights. And I'm going to stick with that answer. Those little things are so poppable and delicious that I could eat a whole bowl unknowingly. Butterfinger is a close runner-up.
