Good Morning Halloween Friends, and happy 1st day of winter! It's the darkest day of the year today, there is something very Halloween-like and spooky about that fact. Also sort of spooky - we are now just TWO WEEKS away from celebrating the all-important 300 DAYS TO HALLOWEEN milestone!
Yesterday went by pretty fast, and I'm curious as to what speed today runs at. Getting close now to THE BIG ONE - CHRISTMAS DAY!!

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Today is Christmas Eve Eve Eve! That's a name I came up with in elementary school, and it has stuck with me ever since.
Nothing much happening in the Halloween world now this close to Christmas, but as we know that is going to change somewhat in the next two weeks as some key dates come into more clear focus. We're under two weeks to go now on the "Days to Halloween" count. That will be the end of the 300's in this thread!

Even though we are only two days out from Christmas now, I can feel the excitement on the countdowns on here starting to creep back to life. @The_Escalation pointed out yesterday that January will see us reach double-digits on the Halfoween count. And it's true. January will also see the end of the 300's in the countdown, as "Days to Halloween" will be under 300. In truth, there's lots coming up to be excited about. But Christmas season isn't over yet. We still have two more full wonderful days to enjoy. So let's enjoy them. I promise, I am ready to 100% whole-heartedly countdown with you to next "Bers Season", but we aren't there yet. Let's give Christmas the love it deserves! After all, that's why we are all on MMC!

Tomorrow the high temperature is going to be 58 degrees, which is warmer than it was on Halloween, the Bers sure give us a wide range of weather! I am looking forward to the next two days, but am glad to have a JOL Day to make plans for and to spend some time next week looking for long term crafts and supplies for Halfoween and Halloween projects.
Indeed, it does feel more like Halloween weather outside than Christmas. I am expecting a COLD January because I can't imagine that this is the worst that winter's going to throw at us.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Today is Christmas Eve. It's the first of the TWO most magical days of the whole year, in my opinion. I am off work today, and later this evening we are having Christmas Eve presents & dinner at my in-law's house. This will be the first time in many years that we have had a family dinner on Christmas Eve.
I don't have many Halloween thoughts for today, because my brain is in Christmas mode 100% for the next roughly 48 hours. It's just a little break, but Sunday I will be back here "officially" ready to go after our counts hardcore. We have a lot coming up in January and lots of stuff to start getting ready / excited for.

I agree that it is hard to have many Halloween thoughts today and tomorrow, but next week I am looking forward to looking at the 2022 calendar and marking down the important milestones and celebrations!
