Good Morning Halloween Friends!
Edge brought up a good point of thinking about Halloween yesterday. I was thinking about Halloween stuff too, specifically how great it will feel to put out a few Halloween decorations when I have our first JOL Day in a few weeks! I know for sure that I'm setting out my giant laughing light up pumpkins that I got from Costco, I decided that back in October of last year. And I have a special Halloween / Fall wallflower plug that I picked out just for Jack O Lantern Days. I even stocked up on on my favorite "Halloween" fragrance from Bath & Body works last fall in anticipation of needing them for my JOL Days. I'll talk more about my "tools" when we get closer to the day.
Today is just a peaceful Wednesday. I like how Wednesdays feel. Have a great day!

We are gearing up again for a big snowstorm to roll in Sunday night. Our area is supposed to get north of a foot. That's exciting! Too bad the Christmas lights are off. But they aren't down, and truth be told, I'm considering turning them on for one last run Sunday night to celebrate the arrival of the snow.

I'll be here! Getting to the 100-day marker on any countdown is a huge deal, but with it being so early in the year and the fact that it's Halfoween makes this a can't miss occasion!
I am a clearance seeker. Lakeside Collection had a orange pumpkin mantle scarf on sale for less than half-price. It came yesterday. Certainly put me in the Halloween mood. Begrudgedly, I put it away with my other Halloween stuff, but I was sorely tempted...................................
Our forecasted snow (7-9 inches) has shifted and I have a three day weekend ahead. I am looking forward to treating myself to the second Harry Potter movie, some chicken and noodles, and working on a puzzle. Monday I will devote some time to the real world, but January and the fog have settled in and I am going to enjoy the weekend.

Today is almost like a milestone day, because we are officially 30 days from the 200 Days to The Bers milestone. I won't go on and on about it because that's Edge's thread, but it's an awesome achievement.
And just 10 days out now from hitting 250 Days to October. The knowledge of these two dates seems like it is giving me extra strength to keep plowing through January!

Good Morning Halloween Friends! So many good looks at the counts this morning - just about TWO WEEKS until our first JOL Day, just FIVE days away from the all-important 100 DAYS TO HALFOWEEN Milestone, under 30 days now until 200 DAYS TO THE BERS, and now just 9 days away from 250 DAYS TO OCTOBER!
There's some great stuff coming up just ahead. And I can't wait. I'm missing Hogwarts right now. I was thinking just yesterday about how good it's going to taste, that first glass of home made Cherry Cider about two weeks from now. And a few nights ago, I started playing the Resident Evil Remake on my new Xbox. It originally came out on the Nintendo Gamecube in 2002, which I didn't own at the time. It then made its way to Xbox One in 2015, but for whatever reason it was "too hard", and I couldn't get past a part where you are ambushed by zombie dogs. Crazy, I am / was a decent gamer, I've beaten Dark Souls a few times, but I met my end at the hand of vicious zombie dogs. Flash forward to 2022, and they added my friend, the difficulty menu. Don't judge me lol. I'm rolling on that game now, and I always get a creepy Halloween vibe from roaming around the mansion!
I'm off to the grocery store to try and beat the crazy hoarders getting ready for our snow storm! Have a great day!

Since it is a 3 day weekend I am watching the second Harry Potter movie and taking some time to look for Potter themed crafts to make for Halfoween, Harry Potter's birthday, and the Pumpkin Hunt. I am not ready to actually start crafting, just perusing! LOL!

Is it strange that I want one?
I went to Michael's yesterday looking for a particular picture frame I need. They didn't have the picture frame and they had no bags to put your purchases in, but all the fall and Halloween stuff they didn't have last fall? They have it now, Like four aisles of it and all at 90% off. I had so much fun. Got a cart full of fun stuff--literally a cart full-- that usually I would pass on because of the price and spent $44. I am now looking forward to Halloween even more.
I went to Michaels as well and was surprised at the Halloween clearance. There wasn't a ton, but I did grab two spider candles, one of those foily hanging spider deals and a small skull. All for $3.39. Score!
