100 days until Halfoween is a great sight to see. I don't want to get my hopes up for how I am exactly going to celebrate but I can guarantee that pumpkin shaped waffles will be part of it!

100 DAYS UNTIL HALFOWEEN!

Unless I'm missing something, I think this is the first "major" count this year that has reached the 100-day marker. And that, my friends, is something to get excited over. Starting tomorrow we'll be in double digits until our Halfoween celebration, and we're not even out of January yet! Can you imagine how we will feel a few months from now when we get to Halfoween?

I am definitely enjoying the ride this year, but moments like this get my emotions stirred up.
Yep, I believe too unless I am mistaken, that it was indeed the first major count to break 100 days.

DAYS TO JOL DAY: 10
DAYS TO HALFOWEEN: 99
DAYS TO THE BERS: 223
DAYS TO OCTOBER: 253
DAYS TO HALLOWEEN: 283

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Well we're here now, on a Friday, and under 100 Days to Halfoween, to boot! Our good friend @The_Escalation pointed out and I believe that he is correct, that being under 100 days to Halfoween is now the first of the "Major" countdowns to reach / break 100 days.

I did indeed bust out the Halloween playlist to celebrate the arrival of such an important milestone. It felt good to hear and even "feel" some of the old tunes. Really good in fact. I imagine that it will be the same in a few days from now when I get to hear Christmas music again. I'm really glad that we seem to be "rolling" now again towards milestones and special days. The January slog is no joke.

Only three days away now from another major milestone, and that is the 250 DAYS TO OCTOBER milestone which will ring in on Monday!

Have a great day, friends!

That'll be a great way to start a Monday!

And double digits to Halfoween now is giving me a solid dose of the Feels.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! It's 12 degrees outside. Not exactly Halloween weather lol. This is the final day of what we called "The Big Freeze". Last night was the last of the overnight lows in the single digits. We are expecting it to gradually warm up over the next week, which will be appreciated by all.

Just TWO DAYS away now from the 250 DAYS TO OCTOBER milestone day. What a way to kick off a Monday!

Have a great day friends!

A toasty 12 degrees to start the morning here and maybe 4 inches of snow coming in during the next 48 hours. Might make for an unpleasant commute to work on Monday if the wind picks up but will be beautiful to look at, from inside.

Morning Halloween Fans! I am a fan of masks (only for Halloween not Covid) but I have to say it's been so cold out I thought to myself that's the one good thing about Non-Halloween masks is they keep your face warm. Have a great day!

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Today will serve purpose of several reminders / announcements regarding festivities over this next upcoming week. I can always count on the last full week of January to give me that jolt of Holiday Feels that we all desperately need.

But first of all, let's take a look at the counts this morning. 1st thing that stands out, like @Rich pointed out, we are mere single digits now until Jack O Lantern Day #1. Tomorrow in fact marks the fact that we will be ONE WEEK away from that. And as you can see, Tomorrow as well will see us reach the all-important 250 DAYS TO OCTOBER milestone. Yikes.

I mentioned jolt of Holiday Feels - that's what this week will be. Rudolph Day on Tuesday, Tom Turkey Day on Thursday, and the very first Dark Arts Sunday on Sunday, followed up by Jack O Lantern Day next Monday, to close out the month. An absolute incredible lineup and I am just about on cloud nine this morning knowing what is coming up this week.

Have a great day, friends!

MILESTONE DAY:
250 Days to October.png
Good Morning Halloween Friends! And 1st of all Happy Milestone Day! And Also, Happy Rudolph Day Eve, I wouldn't want to forget anything. Today is the 250 Days to October milestone day. It's an incredible way to start the week, especially with all we have to look forward to and celebrate this week. We are in the 30's now on both of the WEEKS counts. That's amazing. Today is the 250 Days to October Milestone. Tomorrow is Rudolph Day. Thursday is Tom Turkey Day, and this weekend (Sunday) is Dark Arts Sunday. We then close out January with the very first Jack O Lantern Day of 2022.

And here is a welcome return, back today, and part of our tradition: SOUP WEEK.

Soup week is our way of honoring the fall and paying tribute to The Bers in January. All of the soups and stews we will have this week are ones that we enjoy frequently during the Ber months. It just seems fitting to close out the month this way, especially with Dark Arts Sunday and JOL day now within a stones throw. Tonight we will be enjoying dumplings!

Try and celebrate a little today. Don't celebrate too much though - You know what, celebrate as much as you want. It's silly, but I'm most excited that on Saturday I'm going to go out and get my ingredients to make Cherry Cider to have on Sunday and Monday!

Now, on to today's Topic / Question.

What do you think of "Happy Halloween Cards" ?

To be honest, I don't know if Happy Halloween cards even exist. I've never really looked for them. I think maybe when it gets closer to "Halloween Season", I will try and find some so that I can mail to my friends. I've never done it before and I think it would be fun!

Have a great day! Happy Milestone Day!

AH! I forgot about Soup Week! Luckily I can participate today - we had Carrabba's for dinner last night, and I saved my sicilian chicken soup for lunch today! So the timing works out well. I just need to line up some soups for the rest of this week (I might cheat a bit and stretch the definition of a soup to include gumbo).

And 250 days until October 1st! Crazy to think that in March sometime we'll hit 200. Good thing I will be occupied for most of February so that time should just melt away.

As to this week's question: I have for sure seen Happy Halloween cards, but I have never purchased them for anyone. I don't think they've become as popular to send as Christmas cards, but perhaps we can change that...

My mind just entered a parallel universe where there's a spinoff of this site called *MyHappyHalloween.com" and they do a Halloween card exchange there each year.
