Halloween 2022 Countdown!

I get very few trick or treaters, only houses on the one side of the street. Behind us there are lots of caul-de-sacs so kids get more bang for their buck there. I do go to our church trunk or treat and hand out tons of candy. I wish I got more door-to-door and do give out the full-size bars for anyone who does come to my door.
 
I am in a rural area, so no trick or treaters for me, not since the last of the nieces and nephews stopped coming over to show off their costumes. I have thought about participating in a trunk or treat someday, I think I would like the decorations.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! At long last, Monday is over and in the rear view mirror! Most of us are excited for this upcoming weekend for a variety of reasons, but I'm putting it right out there that Sunday is going to feel like a holiday! 200 Days to The Bers! It makes me so happy to see it talked about every where.

We have to be a little patient, as we still have a few weeks to go until we hit our next milestone, but it's coming. We are just over two weeks TODAY until the 250 Days to Halloween milestone!

I'm going to try and enjoy the weather for the next few days. In the 50's. Almost "Ber Weather". Just on the chilly side. It will still make me happy either way. Have a great day!
 
Two weeks seems like nothing this year. We'll be at that 250 day count before you know it.

This does raise the question: If the offseason is going by this fast, are the Bers going to go by even faster? I sure hope not. Maybe when we get to March there will be some pumping of the brakes.

March typically would have its own way of pumping the brakes, but there’s a lot of milestones across all of the countdown threads, and also another JOL Day, Dark Arts Sunday, AND being so close to halfway to October / Halfoween. So I don’t know!
 
You guys wished that you could see Halloween decorations out “early” and in time for Halfoween. Well, it’s happening ahead of schedule. Sort of, lol.

this guy is out there with the Valentine’s Day stuff. Is he ahead of schedule? Or is he leftover from last year? We will never know lol. But it made me happy!
 
March can go either for me and it usually depends on the weather. But I do agree that the milestones and countdowns keep me from just focusing on how far we are from Christmas, and enjoying so much more of the year!

Good Morning Halloween Friends! It's Wednesday. The first exciting part of the week, as the halfway point has arrived. We're not at the halfway point of the month yet, but we are close!

Tomorrow sees us drop into the 70's on the Halfoween count, and then just THREE days until the 200 Days to The Bers milestone! It seems like all of a sudden, from somewhere, we have picked up steam!

I agree, Valentine’s candy is not as good as Halloween Candy!
 
Valentine's candy is indeed inferior to Halloween BUT, who can argue with a big red heart-shaped box (actually depending, that could work for Halloween candy :cool: ).

When I was driving my daughter to her surgery this morning I noticed two things, one was a house that still had totally Christmas lights, but the second was a house that still had a Halloween wreath. I am assuming they probably go in and out through their garage and have forgotten it is there, but still . . . . .
 
Morning Halloween Fans! Well it's another day and Thursday at that. And temps should be into the 40s again. I'll take it! Not bad with the sun out too. Feels almost Autumnal. Have a great day!

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Finally broke into the 70's now on the Halfoween Count. And that Bers count is looking pretty "skinny" being so close to 200. It just makes my head spin thinking about being in the 100's next week on that one.

It makes me happy to see the chatter in here picking up on Halfoween. I remember during the pandemic year it was such a wonderful addition to my life. I still remember thinking - We celebrate Leon Day, why not Halfway to Halloween?

Hallelujah. We've broken into the 70s on a count. The other counts are moving at a fantastic pace. We're cruising right along.
