Good Morning Halloween Friends! Happy Wednesday! This is always the point in the week where I feel like I can start to think about the weekend just a little! Wednesday has a whole entire different vibe to it than the other days of the week, IMO. And we are going to have nice, spring-like weather for the next 10 days. Will the weather feel like The Bers? Or Will it be more October-like? I'd be happy with either way.
A quick check of our counts reveal that today marks only ONE WEEK until the 250 DAYS TO HALLOWEEN milestone. Pretty exciting, no!

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Happy Wednesday! This is always the point in the week where I feel like I can start to think about the weekend just a little! Perhaps a sleep-stealing vampire?I had a dream the other night that I was at a Halloween party. But I can't remember what I was dressed up as.
I kid, I kid.
The closer we get to Halfoween, the more excited I get. I'm going to need that excitement to carry me through March. From now until Easter is a long, slow road.
The temps hit 50 today and it was windy and under a Winter Storm Advisory for tomorrow-- feels like it could be March!
After two days of spring (or Bers) like weather, we had snow today. Because the last few days were warm, little of it stuck to the ground but at times it was almost blizzardly the way it was swirling. We have had many October days with that kind of weather so of course, that's where my head went and then Thanksgiving and then Christmas. Hmmm, I think I have holiday brain.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Almost the weekend now. I can always feel the momentum start to shift when we get to late Tuesday night / Wednesday. Being close to the weekends make me think of "Halloween Season" where I'm checking the TV schedule every morning and picking the best channels to come home to later and relax in front of the TV with Halloween movies on.
I'm hoping to recreate a lot of the same vibes / feelings when we do our Halfoween week-long movie marathon.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! We're finally at the doorstep now of the weekend. Last night was an amazing evening. 66 degrees last night, or should I say this morning, at 12:30 AM. In so many ways, it felt like a September night or even possibly early October. Those are the kind of organic "October Happenings" that I love when they happen. It's fun to plan them like I do with Jack O Lantern Day or Dark Arts Sunday, but it's also fun to have an October moment happen all on its own out of nowhere!
Next week will see the arrival of the 250 DAYS TO HALLOWEEN milestone. That's gonna be a big one folks. It seems like pretty soon, we aren't going to have any of our "main counts" in the 200's anymore. We are creeping up on 100's territory now!

I saw all kinds of crazy sights yesterday evening. Halloween candy still available on clearance at our local grocery store, and Christmas lights still up and shining on not one, but TWO houses here in town. To say I got the Feels was an understatement. In my mind I was back in the Bers again. Why can't things be like this all year long?

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Happy beginning of the weekend to you! The winter weather has returned, albeit briefly, as tomorrow is supposed to be close to 50, and then the next four days are in the 60's. I'm hoping to get a little fire in tonight out at the "Bers Fire Pit" as I like to call it.
We need to do a quick check of counts this morning. Just 70 days now until Halfoween. Tomorrow that number drops down into the 60's! 194 days until we are back at the Bers, and then 224 days to October, and last but certainly not least, 254 days to Halloween. As you can see we've got a milestone day coming up on Wednesday. Which is awesome because Wednesday is my 2nd favorite day of the week besides Friday. It will be a happy Wednesday indeed to ring in 250 Days to Halloween.

Always easier for me to conjure the Halloween spirit on the weekend. Today I am reminiscing about the 5 wonderful weekends we enjoyed last October and I am doing my best to enjoy this February weekend.
