Good Morning Halloween Friends! Like Edge pointed out, we are indeed heading into the weekend, and it's going to be a big one. The 200 Days to The Bers milestone is going to be enormous, as is Super Bowl Sunday. I still really can't believe that beginning on MONDAY, we are in the 100's count for The Bers. We have earned it!
In terms of overall counts, here is where we stand on this Friday:
2 days until 200 DAYS TO THE BERS
12 days until 250 DAYS TO HALLOWEEN
18 days until 50 DAYS TO HALFOWEEN
32 days until 200 DAYS TO OCTOBER

As you can see, we are now just ONE DAY away from the 200 Days to The Bers milestone. It's a big one. Maybe one of the biggest ones, IMO. Very possibly on the same level as reaching Christmas Season "officially". So it will be fun to be there tomorrow.

There were some comments yesterday about random Halloween feels. I had some of my own as when I turned on the TV last night, "Silent Hill" was on. I haven't watched it in full for a few years now, but it's one of my favorites. Instantly made me think of Halloween time. I love it when stuff happens organically like that!

Good Morning Halloween Friends, and happy Valentine's Day! First things first, it sure is amazing to have the Bers count down in the 100's. If things go like last year, I believe by the time that one gets to 150, it's really going to fly.
We still have some good stuff coming up in the next two weeks. Keep your eye on the "Days to Halfoween", and "Days to October", as they will hit 50 days, and 250 days, respectively.
It might be just me, or it might be because I feel all amped up from being in the 100's on the Bers count, but I'm starting to feel some real October excitement starting to creep in. I think it is because next month we have JOL Day #2, but also because Halfoween by that point will be so close you can practically reach out and touch it. It's a good feeling. Which brings me to the weekly topic / question:
Do you have any other month / time of the year that gives you Halloween / October like vibes?
My vote is on April. Even if I didn't celebrate Halfoween or any of that, I think there is still plenty of similarities between April and October. Let's talk about the obvious one - CANDY. There is Easter candy and Easter baskets a plenty that month, and it immediately can draw comparisons to Halloween Candy and its subsequent candy buckets / pails. Also, the weather at times can be very October-like. Pleasant warmth during the day but some breezes and night time temperatures that bring you back to sweater / hoodie weather!

April does give me some minor October/Halloween vibes, but usually by then the weather has warned up to the point where it shatters the illusion. There have been a handful of times in January and February though where we've had Bers like temps outside, and the sunset is alllllllllmost at those perfect October hues, but not quite. I like to pretend it's October anyway, though.
April and October are my favorite weather months and I can't say that both hosting a candy-filled holiday hurts how I feel about them both.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Yesterday we completed the 1st half of February. The mid-point of the month is now behind us. I'm cautiously optimistic that the 2nd half of February goes by as fast as the first half.
And another thought crossed my mind yesterday evening. Unless I have done my math wrong, I believe that we are now less than TWO WEEKS away, until we have made it HALF WAY back to THE BERS. I don't want to have this one wrong, so someone please correct me if it's not so. My logic is just thinking that April brings us halfway back to October, so surely the arrival of March means we are halfway back to HOME.
I'm thinking March 1st might be like a holiday in itself! We're doing great on the countdowns as well. Two weeks exactly until 50 days to Halfoween, and 8 days until 250 Days to Halloween. Have a great day, friends!
