Did it feel like a September / October day for anyone yesterday?

We had 74 degree weather, and a mild breeze all day. At one point, we had our windows open in the house, and you could feel the breeze rolling through the house and it felt amazing. It was warm outside, but no humidity, and I had an instant connection to those warm late September and early October days where there is no humidity, and the warmness and the "October breeze" just feels amazing. It felt like October for us yesterday. Only thing missing was a football game on the TV.

Today we are going to have a repeat of the same. I'm going to enjoy it. Have a great Monday!
Yes! Very much so. It was so nice. Especially the low humidity. We had the windows open as well. I just wish we were home again today to enjoy it.

I wish I could answer this question, but I spent all day inside yesterday battling a migraine. Today looks like a Bers Day outside though!

I think the high point of today is knowing that we are now in the 20s when it comes to the weeks until October.

I had a day that reminded me of a rainy November day., overcast and all. It turned to snow overnight and we had 2" inches on the ground this morning, with a Winter Weather Advisory expiring at noon today. But hoping to get some of the Bers-like days soon.

Morning Halloween Fans! Anyone still have Halloween candy left? And is it stale or still edible? I never know what the right time to throw it out is. Does anyone freeze some? Have a great day!
No more Halloween candy at this time, but we still have the Halloween bowls, one looks like a witch's cauldron, and another big cauldron with witch's feet that says "Happy Halloween". They stay out all year and house our candy for Easter, Halloween, and Christmas!

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Happy Tuesday! Our big warm up is over, and we are back to more seasonally appropriate weather. High of 50 today and partly sunny. To me, that still is kind of a "Bers Day", albeit maybe one on the colder side.

Remember that Friday, we will celebrate 50 DAYS TO HALFOWEEN, and also at that point be within striking distance of another milestone, the 200 DAYS TO OCTOBER. I have to confess something, I am guilty of rushing these milestones just a little bit. I am content with the pace of all of them but it seems like the "Days to Halloween" one doesn't seem to reliably make traction. I have to remember that it started with the highest digits of anything else. I am trying to slow down and try and enjoy Spring and the moments it gives us. But if we are all honest, we probably rush the counts a little bit from time to time. Except Edge, he seems like he has figured out perfectly how to make everything take its time in due course. Good job for him.

Have a great day, friends! Try and think some happy Halloween thoughts for our next round of milestone days coming up!

No Halloween candy left here, it barely made it until Halloween!

Still have Halloween candy, still tastes good and I did freeze some. Put it in a Ziploc bag and squeezed out all the air and popped it in the freezer. It is great. I look for bags that have an expiration date a long time off. I had a friend who used to put them in canning jars and seal them up with the warm lids. She said it worked great but I have never tried it.

None here but can still get some. We have Ollie's Closeout stores and they still have a ton of it for sale. They even have Cap'n Crunch Halloween for .99.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! We are now halfway through the week. And on Wednesdays, for some reason now since about January, I have always felt some small vibes of Halloween creep into the day. This morning is dark and cool, it's raining, and there is an unmistakable "Fall Smell" outside with the damp ground.

Just three days away now from our next milestone day! Have a great day, friends!

It's an appropriately spooky day here. Very dark outside with a thunderstorm imminent. I might turn on good ol' Ambient Mixer today at work and lose myself in a creepy October evening.
What's some of your favorite "october" tracks on ambient mixer? Me personally I like "The Scarecrow", and "Cozy Witch's Cottage".

You literally just listed my favorite two. I also like "Mr. Tumnus's House" although it does share some similarities with "Cozy Witch's Cottage."

But "The Scarecrow"...man, that's the best. It's almost otherworldly.

I need to listen to a few of the Harry Potter themed ones. They have quite a few; at least one of them should be good.

Does anyone else put the Hogwarts Ambience videos from Youtube on while doing chores or working a puzzle?
