I can feel right now the beginnings of the Holiday vibes starting. It's amazing how powerful they are, even now as we get only a fraction of them from our MMC Special Days. The power of the Holidays when they are actually here almost can't be measured in words. Tomorrow shares the distinction of being both Rudolph Day Eve, AND Tom Turkey Day. Dark Arts Sunday to end the weekend, leading us towards JOL Day #2. I'm sitting here this morning and really looking forward to the next couple of days. We're so close now to being Halfway back to October it could almost reach out and grab you.

Man, I had a crazy dream last night. I can't remember what I was doing, but I was at some weird shack with my Dad, and we were waiting forever for some paperwork to be filled out, so I went up to the counter to complain, and the person filling out the forms was Elvira! When I realized it was her I told her that I thought she should have a painting or picture of Vincent Price in her shack and she said, "Thank you, I'll take that into consideration."
And that was it! Man, the mind cooks up some strange stuff when we're unconscious. Just thought I'd share since it was Halloween related.

I'd say that a pretty dang awesome morning update! Lots of fun stuff coming our way, and lots of milestones.
The one that stuck in my head was actually the one that Edge posted over in the Thanksgiving thread, which is that exactly two months from today (May 24th) we will reach the 100 Days til the Bers milestone. WHAT?!?! That made my day.
Peeps wouldn't be my first choice, but go for it!Only one week until JOL Day! Wow!

Tomorrow, we will break into the 150's count on "Days to The Bers". I mentioned it yesterday but that just seems crazy. I'm planning a Hobby Lobby Run tomorrow, and on the eve of "Dark Arts Sunday", it might be some crazy feels to see Fall stuff in there already. I'm not expecting to see anything, so I won't be disappointed.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! We're finally at the weekend at last. Our counts this morning now see us back in the 150's to both The Bers, and October. And Edge pointed out brilliantly this morning that we are now very close to being halfway back to October.
Folks, tomorrow is Dark Arts Sunday. I'm always so excited when it comes around. And JOL Day #2 is now just in five days. We talk about "bonus months" during the Bers, but Springtime as it relates to Halloween also has its own "Bonus months". Folks, I'm not sure if I pointed it out before, but February, and June, out of the entire year's run up to Halloween, are the only months that we do not observe / celebrate a Halloween / Fall activity. March has both JOL Day #2 and a Dark Arts Sunday, April has Halfoween, and then May has both JOL Day #3, and a Dark Arts Sunday. That's 3 months in a row where we can tap into all things pumpkin. July once again starts the run of JOL Day & Dark Arts Sunday that sees us back safely into The Bers! And as mentioned before, we don't really "miss" Halloween in November and December because we're back in Christmas Season. That's pretty cool, and I wanted to share, if I had not already done so.

I can hardly believe how fast March is going by, I can't decide if it is a trick or a treat!
I can't speak for everyone, but it's most definitely a treat for me! March is usually the month that drags on the longest, so to have seen it go by faster than usual makes me think this year will be a cake walk when it comes to waiting for the Bers. But we'll see how April and May treat us.

It's Dark Arts Sunday!
Good Morning Halloween Friends! In case you couldn't tell, It's Dark Arts Sunday again! I look forward to this almost as much as I do Jack O Lantern Day. Today we'll be going through HP and the Prisoner of Azkaban, and HP and the goblet of Fire! Cherry cider has been made and is chilling right now, and I'll have enough left over to finish it up on Thursday!
We're so close to being halfway to October now, you can almost smell the leaves and woodsmoke. Well, you can smell the wood smoke because it's in the 30's right now here, the next two days are supposed to be absolutely brutal cold. Overnight lows down near single digits. And it came out of nowhere too. It's going to warm up today to the mid 40's, so all in all, the weather is "sort of" cooperating for my DAS experience. Maybe it will be closer to true "bers" weather on Thursday for JOL Day #2. Have a great day, friends!

It's Dark Arts Sunday!

Dark Arts Sunday! Now I know what I'm going to do today! Time to head back to Hogwarts...I think I'll start from the very beginning.
I re-watched the 20th Anniversary Return to Hogwarts special last night, so I am looking forward to a Harry Potter movie today too! I can't believe it has been 20 years.
