Halloween 2022 Countdown!

I've been living the Halloween life here. Every day at work I've been listening to my Spooky Season playlist, and we've taken a few evenings to drive around and look at Halloween decorations. Still haven't watched The Nightmare Before Christmas yet, but we will get to that activity this weekend.
On Sunday we went back to the pumpkin patch (yes, they're open now), and picked out a really good carving pumpkin. I have this Friday off work, so the girls and I will tackle it then.
I can't believe there are only 13 days left.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! I'm full of Halloween Spirit today because the past 24 hours we have been on a fun little search for McDonalds "Boo Buckets" retro Halloween candy buckets. You get one when you buy a happy meal!
We had them when I was a kid, but the only one I could ever find was the Green Witch. Yesterday my Mom got me a green witch, and by early evening, my step mother, and mother in law had both came up with the ghost pail. It's kind of ironic, the ghost pail was the one that I always wanted as a kid, but never could get. All that's left for me to find now is the pumpkin bucket. Maybe I will get one before the promotion runs out and the buckets get out of stock. Twitter said yesterday, even though it was Day 1 of the promotion, there were some McDonalds already out of stock!
Tonight is another edition of Chucky, which I'm really looking forward to. Halloween time is flying by now, I'm clinging on like mad because honestly, I am just not ready to already mentally start thinking about "next year" and our new countdown thread that starts up here in about two weeks.

I got the pumpkin bucket yesterday! I actually got four pumpkin buckets because everyone in my family ordered a Happy Meal so we could get Boo Buckets. If you aren't able to get your hands on one, I'd be happy to ship you one of mine.
I'm on the look out for the ghost bucket, but I can't handle anymore McDonald's right now. Maybe tomorrow...lol.

Hey all! Sorry I have not been on in awhile, just super busy.
The weather has been down right cold lately, but warming up the next few days. Simply cannot believe how close Halloween actually is. I still have so many movies to watch! Just not enough time!!!

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Happy Thursday to you all. Folks - there's a scary number brewing in this thread. And it's the SINGLE DIGITS number on our way to Halloween! It's arriving Saturday! I'm just not ready!
Folks - I'm digging the Christmas tree out of storage next Tuesday per family tradition. And as happy of a moment as that will be, I'm just not ready for it to be here already.
I'm already starting to get thoughts about "next year", and I've already been thinking of Jack O Lantern Days, even though I promised myself I was going to try and not have any of those kind of thoughts until the year was almost over. Truth be told, I can't be the only one who has thought like that.

So, I don't know if anyone else here saw (or cares about) yesterday's Silent Hill news, but I've been hooked on Silent Hill ever since I played the second game back in college. So the fact that they are releasing an updated remake of that game AND making a "Return to Silent Hill" movie really set off the Halloween sirens for me. I am almost certain I'm going to incorporate Silent Hill into my Spooky Spring festivities next year somehow.
I think you and me are the only SH fans on this thread. I keep hoping one day they do a proper remake of Silent Hill 1. But SH2 is a classic too, and I will definitely fork over the cash to buy it. I really liked the first SH movie, so getting another movie will be great! I did play that movie this year during “spooky spring”!

I'm looking more forward to my SS check coming on the 4th Wednesday than Halloween 
I wish we had kids so I had an excuse to go out and buy candy. I try to stay away from processed food, especially sugar and I fear I'd eat it all.
I might call our church to see if there is a family that needs a little something for Halloween. There is Trunk or Treat but not everyone can attend.
Maybe I should dress up and knock on doors. I could decorate my power wheelchair and give them all a good scare. If I go by foot, I might not make it far but that chair would give me lots of mileage.
