Good Morning Halloween Friends! Happy Monday. Today's a big one. I don't want to yak on here very long, I want to get over to that Bers thread because today is a big milestone day.
You will notice that there is no Monday topic / discussion, I am going to refrain from that one here over the next few weeks as we are being treated to a DAILY Halloween discussion for the next couple of weeks over in the Daily Holiday Hangout. It's going to be awesome, and it's going to exceed anything that I could have came up with or thought of here. We will resume those here at the end of the month, appropriately right in time for the leadup to the Halfoween celebration.

Oh, and do we ever have a big milestone coming up here in the next ten days! We are going to reach that 200 day marker to Halloween pretty shortly. Just another bonus of Spooky Spring. April really is the new October.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Looking at the counts this morning, we are obviously on the other side of the 150 Days to the Bers milestone, and that's a big one, but I think the biggest change "coming soon" to our countdowns will be the "Days to Halloween". It's now entered into single digits before reaching the 200 Day milestone. That's going to be a big one because after that, there won't be any more 200's in this thread until we get the NEW thread for Halloween 2023 that will go up in November / Halloween night.
Spooky Spring is continuing and today is going to be an overcast gloomy day, with off and on rain showers. Folks, everyone knows it, but Facebook has been getting pretty good with the algorithms to suggest stuff for you, and the last few days I have been inundated with suggest pages for me about Halloween and Fall. Some of the pictures they have been sharing, wow, just instant feels. And they "feel" great at this point in the year.

So we haven't done a Seasonal Candy of the Week since last year. Well, today I am bringing this special segment back from the dead for a one-off showcase based on a seasonal candy that I have just eaten. It's a candy that might terrify many of you, but trust me on this when I say that it's delicious...
Feast your eyes on... KEY LIME PIE M&Ms!
These are out in stores now, but I honestly don't know if they're meant to be a spring or summer seasonal treat. Either way, in theory, these should be disgusting. But I'm here to tell you that if you like key lime flavor at all, you will absolutely LOVE these. They nailed the flavor of a key lime pie (except for the crust), and it pairs well with the white chocolate used inside the M&M. I was skeptical when my wife brought a bag of these home, but we ended up eating almost the entire bag in one sitting. Highly recommended for your Halfoween candy dish.

I went to my Walmart Neighborhood Market and they did not have any. Maybe the big Walmart will.
Yeah, now this sounds promising; unlike some of the other weird fare that shows up around here sometimes. (I'm looking at you, pizza flavored ice cream over at the Christmas Countdown thread.)
I saw the pizza flavored ice cream and was immediately repulsed. Who honestly thought that it would be a good idea to combine those two things? Why, just why?

Last night I watched a Halloween episode of South Park, "Korn's Groovy Pirate Ghost Mystery". It is one of my favorites not only because of the Halloween theme, but also because Cartman reminds me of myself throughout the episode constantly telling the guys that it's now Christmas time, he even gets a Christmas catalog in the mail that day and starts circling things he wants for Christmas, and throughout the episode he sings Christmas carols. It really makes me think of us on here, who have long acknowledged that Halloween is indeed part of the "Christmas Routine".
Tonight I think I might watch "Sons of Witches", another funny Halloween episode.
