Halloween 2022 Countdown!

Good morning, fellow spooks!
I am embracing this final week of the Halloween season and don't want to let it go. Christmas is calling, yes, but right now at work it's either the "Great Pumpkin" soundtrack, my Spooky Season playlist, or the Ambient Mixer that I have playing non-stop. Tonight I'll watch a Halloween special, most likely Garfield, and will maybe take one final drive around town to see the Halloween decorations. Even Rudolph Day today is going largely unanswered in my pursuit of Halloween.
I guess it kind of goes without saying that I'm excited. I think I'll be a little more bummed than usual when Halloween is over this year, but with the Christmas season waiting right there to pick me up, it won't be for very long.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! We have now reached the mid-week point in the leadup to our "last" October weekend. Halloween is now just Five days away!
Last night, as is family tradition, we got the Christmas tree out of storage and sat it up. It needs fluffed and all of the lights need to work, but we reached our "Phase 1" goal of having the tree standing by the 25th.
I think tonight, depending on what is on TV, I might watch "The Nightmare before Christmas". It sort of reminds me of our house right now, with basically Halloween and Fall and Christmas decorations around.
I'm going to make one last grocery run for the sole purpose of getting Halloween candy. I know within just a few short days, we will see Christmas candy on the shelves. Our Martins here already has some bare shelves and I'm sure that is where they plan on putting the Christmas candy!

Totally covered. But then whenever I watch "Holiday Inn," I claim it is a fill-in-the-blank holiday movie, cause it has songs for everything.

I'm pretty sure someone else said it before me...I just forget who it was!
I don't know...but I just love October so much. I don't want it to end. Anyone else feel that way? Not saying I'm not looking forward to the next couple of months but...this month has been soooooooooooo awesome and fun. I think that I really do love Halloween more than I should lol.
