I picked up some Halloween foam stickers on sale yesterday and I think that may be the last Halloween purchase for 2022. It was tempered a little by the fact that the aisles were full of Christmas stuff.

I picked up some Halloween foam stickers on sale yesterday and I think that may be the last Halloween purchase for 2022. It was tempered a little by the fact that the aisles were full of Christmas stuff.
Just hearing that we already have an upcoming milestone just brings me so much joy. I really do love all of our Bers holidays. I'm glad we have these bonus months right now, but it's still an awesome feeling already counting down to the next Halloween.
I saw in Walmart last night that their Halloween stuff is 90% off right now. I didn't have time to peruse, but I might go back during my lunch break today and pick up a few things.

Good Morning Friends! Happy Mid-Week to you! We are cruising towards what looks like a beautiful November weekend. I have yet to be able to mow up any of the leaves, but I'm hoping to start doing it Saturday so that I don't have a mess to deal with! I think regular mowing here is over with. Even after last week of being in the 70's all week, the grass hasn't came back since the last cutting.
I still have yet to have a day where I haven't thought about Halloween for a few moments. As I've mentioned before, our main living room here is permanently decorated in Fall / Autumn decor. I wonder what that will be like as we get farther into the "off-season". I think already it will make Jack O Lantern Days extra special, because by the time we finished the redecorating, it was mid September and we were already back in "Spooky Season".
It will feel good in less than a week when we have our first little "mini milestone" here in this thread of the new 2023 countdown season.

I still have a few pumpkin Twix I'm trying to make last for while. It's hard not to gobble them all down.
As long as there are homes that still have Halloween remnants up, I will have flashes of Halloween.
No remnants of Halloween are left on my drive to work, it was a sad morning-- it even seems the pumpkins are gone. And still no sign of Christmas... yet.

Most of the houses around me have taken down their Halloween decorations. A few have replaced them with Thanksgiving. But there's one house that is taking their time. They typically go from Halloween straight into Christmas. They put up big displays for each. I'd say they have 80% put away right now.
There is still one Halloween display up, I must have missed it yesterday!

But our first true "prize" will be our first milestone day, coming towards us on TUESDAY - the mighty 350 Days to Halloween.

Absolutely. That’s why I say the Halloween counts are sort of “simmering” in the background while everyone enjoys Christmas season. I’m always blown away every year on how the counts look starting in January! The change is so drastic, we don’t even realize it, which is the best part.
Of course, but actually normal is just a cycle on the washing machine. LOL.
