Good Morning Halloween Friends! It's time for the post-Thanksgiving edition of the daily Halloween countdown.

We've got two milestones coming up soon that are within just a few days of each other.

First will be the 150 Days to Halfoween, due to arrive on December 1st. What a way to welcome in a new month with a milestone day. Then just a few days later on December 5th, we will reach the mighty 300 Days to October. I always think its a big deal to get a count out of the 300's, and we were fortunate to only begin this new thread with two counts in the 300's, the Days to October, and Days to Halloween.

Morning Halloween Fans! Think of it this way but it won't be Thanksgiving again until we go through a full Halloween Season. Kind of makes you realize that it's a long time off but will happen. Have a great day!

I am putting away my Fall/Harvest/Thanksgiving decor today and it feels like another goodbye to Halloween. The weather is very October-ish and will be for another five days, after that I think winter will settle in and another door will close. But the good news? On the same day the cold weather arrives, we will hit the 150 mark to Halfoween! So many endings and beginnings!

Everything is shifting into Offseason mode. I'm glad that Christmas is still ahead, and even more glad that we're still in what's considered the "bonus months."

I’m not sure if AMC just hasn’t updated their commercials, but twice during Spider Man tonight, they have showed the promo for “Fear Fest - all month long”.

And for reasons unknown to this day, Spider Man is always a “fear fest” main stay, lol.

Feels just a bit like Halloween season tonight lol.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Happy Saturday!

We're zeroing in now on a few milestones - The 150 Days to Halfoween, and the 300 Days to October milestones, just up ahead!

As I mentioned yesterday evening, I'm not sure if it was just a programming error on their part, but during the broadcast of Spider Man last night on AMC, they repeatedly showed the "Fear Fest - All month long" commercial! It really hit a Halloween note for me, which was totally unexpected, and a little ironic because "Spider Man" is always a Fear Fest main-stay, lol.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Final Sunday of November!

Today is supposed to be another "Halloween-like" day, in the upper 50's and overcast, with showers off and on. Even though it is Christmas season now, and that is going to dominate my thoughts for the next month, I love when "Halloween happenings" occur, just the little organic things that pop up naturally to remind you of Halloween season. Two nights ago is a perfect example , with AMC playing Spider Man and still accidentally (or not?) running the "Fear fest" commercial.

I think it might be harder to find "Halloween Happenings" as we venture farther towards winter and Christmas, but that will just make them more special when they happen!

A bit of a Halloween vibe here too. I need to take my last four pumpkins out to the field--every year I hope to get some volunteer pumpkins to grow but the corn or soybeans seems to always edge them out. But a girl can always hope!

Honestly, this time of the year is when Halloween is furthest from mind. I am ok with this. Everything has its time and place.

On a surprise note I still see some Halloween decorations up. Most are not on but still up. I have seen seen some fall lights still illuminated though. It was kind of different to see them mixed in with Christmas lights. That may be the latest I have seen them.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Happy Monday!

Folks, it was a great weekend, full of holiday feels. I got to see the AMC "Fear Fest" commercial again on Friday night as well as watch part of a "Halloween Dud". Saturday was a day that very much reminded me of Spooky Spring, and Sunday it was obviously Christmas time even more because I've noticed so many houses now completely decorated. It just feels amazing. This is such a special time of year.

Folks - we have some milestones coming up very soon. I don't want to talk them to death, I know I have mentioned them the last few days, but the truth is I feel very excited for them. I have been thinking about Halloween a lot, and that is "out of character" for me at this time of the year, but the truth is stuff is happening organically that keeps taking me back to Spooky Season, it might just be a smell, or the way the weather is, or seeing a Halloween commercial on TV completely randomly. But I count it a blessing that I can already be SO EXCITED for Halloween milestones and still have the full love and joy of Christmas Season.

On Thursday, we will welcome in 150 DAYS TO HALFOWEEN. Next week at this exact time, we will be welcoming 300 DAYS TO OCTOBER. I think those two are just huge. What a way to start off a new month. Remember, on Wednesday I want to try and do the November wrap-up, and our December preview. That's a relatively new thing but I'd like to try and stick with it.
