We’ve technically been on the road back since 11/1, but it doesn’t feel like it because of how much we all love Christmas Season. But when January gets here, all of a sudden we will realize we have already completed a big chunk!!

We are inching closer and closer towards the weekend. We are supposed to get our first winter storm of the 2022-2023 Winter beginning late tonight and through tomorrow morning. Snow and Sleet, and some ice in the morning.
Folks, tomorrow we will be within ONE WEEK of a major milestone in here, and that is the 100 DAYS TO SPOOKY SPRING. I can't stress it enough, that one is going to be big time.

They have a ton of these Christmas horror b-movies on Hulu. I've never been brave enough to try watching any of them, though.
I wish someone would take a crack at making a genuinely good, scary Christmas movie and maybe something that's deeper than just "evil Santa." I don't think it's ever been done.
Spooky Spring seems like just a stone's throw away at this point.
The evil santa part wasn't bad...although it was robotic and never explained how the robot Santa came to life...the cursing though was crazy...literally every other word is a curse word in the whole movie. I've never seen anything like it relentlessly. It got boring.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! I'm up early from being captivated by the ice storm that is currently going on outside. I won't find out if my office is closed until after 6AM.
As of today, we are ONE WEEK from reaching the 100 Days to Spooky Spring milestone. Even as a person who loves Christmas and everything about it, that is a pretty comforting milestone that is coming up, because I have missed mowing grass and doing yard work, and to think that I am about 100 days from getting on the mower again is pretty exciting. Every year that I have been in this house, we have always mowed starting in April, and one year (2012 I believe) we even mowed at the very end of March because it was warm outside and the grass was shaggy when we moved in.

Thanks to this site (and this thread), it's totally normal for me now to think of Halloween as part of the Christmas season. But I'm sure if I ever made that statement to anyone outside of MMC, I'd be branded as a crazy person.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! TGIF!
We got through the ice storm with no problem. There was a lot of power loss south of here, and some parts of the city / town had some downed trees and limbs.
From as best I can tell, we did not have any limbs come down here at home or really any sticks or twigs. The ice was beautiful on the bare trees while it lasted. I wanted to take some pictures last night but it was raining too much.
I was flipping through channels last night and saw that "Lady in White" was on TV. Not sure if too many are familiar with that movie, but it was one of the first movies I can remember watching with my Mom back in the early 90's when it was on a Halloween marathon, that one, and "Child's Play 2". I remember watching them both with her as a kid!

Hello and Happy Friday! I am so happy to have a chance to sit down and visit the threads! I am so excited to see that we are only 106 days away from Spooky Spring-- it was an awesome addition to 2022 and right now anything that has to do with Spring is great- the cold has really settled in here!

Good Morning Halloween Friends! A New weekend is upon us!
Looking at the counts this morning, the big milestone is obviously next Thursday when we reach 100 Days to Spooky Spring. Folks, that one seems like it sped right towards us. Looking a little farther down the road, on NEW YEARS DAY we will see 250 Days to Halloween Season, and then just a few days after that on January 4th, we will hit the 300 Days to Halloween milestone. I mention it all the time in here, but even though we have been technically counting back since 11/1, Christmas Season seems like it is making some of these counts move at warp speed.
Folks, we've got over a whole week left to enjoy Christmas season, and for some of us (me included), the lights and decorations still carry over for a few weeks afterwards. This thread is going to be here and it isn't going anywhere. My wish is that none of us "wish away" what's left of this special time in December. I think we can be both excited for milestones coming up, while still cherishing this time that we are in.
Next Saturday will be Christmas Eve. Holy cow.

All of the counts keep moving along, with only one that is stubbornly hanging in the 300's still, and that is "Days to Halloween". We will "finally" see it exit the 300's next month.
