Halloween 2023 Countdown!

It will be time to start Halloween planning very, very soon. I can't wait to see where Spirit Halloween ends up this year. Bed, Bath, and Beyond just went under so there's a lot of vacant buildings available...

Good Morning Halloween Friends! TGIF! Finally we have made it to the weekend! Fridays just have a different energy to them, don't they?
Another beautiful cool day on tap for today. It's 49 degrees right now and will only be getting to 72 as the high. The weather the past few days have made me think back to Spooky Spring and by thinking of that, I had an immediate wave of nostalgia over Spooky Spring and the upcoming Halloween Season. I am so tempted to burn a pumpkin or fall candle because of the cool weather, but we have a Jack O Lantern Day coming up now in less than two weeks, so I can save it for that and make it more Special.
Also, weather.com has released their predictions for Summer 2023, and believe it or not, where I live they are predicting the coolest summer since 2017. It works for me! I'm not a fool to think that the whole summer stays cool and mild, but the SweatFest might have just been taken down a notch or two. Even shortening the muggy / awful period from 6 weeks to 4 weeks would be a huge game changer.
Have a great day, friends! I'm going to probably go to Hobby Lobby this weekend for another round of Christmas hunting, but also I need to replace my "Buttery pumpkin" candle that has now burned down past the point of being safe to use. It made it almost three years! Have a great day!

I know this wasn't directed at me, but I'd say Memorial Day for sure! At least that's when I officially allow myself to start working on my Bers playlist again!

We're going to hit single digits this week on both the Jack O Lantern Day count, and obviously will see the 100 DAYS TO THE BERS milestone on Wednesday. Folks, that is huge.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Happy Sunday to you all! My Hobby Lobby run didn't disappoint yesterday evening. I did replace my "buttery pumpkin" candle. I still have another "original" buttery pumpkin design that is unopened, but I prefer the "redesigned" pumpkin container as it has ridges like a pumpkin and I also love the deep orange color. A dose of the feels just holding it / looking at it.
Folks, the memes are already showing up over in The Bers thread. And I love it. And you know what I am talking about. We're 72 hours out from the most Major turning point of the year.
So today, just enjoy this relaxing Sunday. I think mentally we are all going to be in a different place on Monday. There's nothing to be worried about or afraid over. It's a GOOD PLACE to be, in my opinion. The most major week / turning point of the entire year is just ahead of us! Have a great day!

Morning Halloween Fans! We went to our apple picking place to see plants. And it's the first time we ever did a non-apple picking visit. It was awesome. And we were smiling and saying thankfully it's not time for apple picking. Not ready for that yet. Have a great day!

Folks, ever since I saw that video game trailer a few days ago with the October 13th release date, I have really been pumped up on our October countdowns.
I really loved the weekend weather too, I really honestly wonder if it was the last little bit of cool / Bers-ish weather we will have until "the real thing" comes back in a few months. But we're staring at the summer sweatfest now. It looks like we hit some consecutive 80's starting next week. It's time, I suppose.
