Halloween 2023 Countdown!

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Happy Thursday! The weekend vibes are due to arrive now within hours. You can always feel it when they come. Folks, we're one week away exactly from the last JOL Day that is not in The Bers. And tomorrow we will be only ONE WEEK from being back HOME.

Yesterday morning it was 55 degrees outside and the inside of the car was almost "cold" driving to work. I had the Halloween playlist going, which I've done each morning of "Fall Preseason", and I thought to myself, it honestly feels like Fall now. What a great feeling.

Have a great Thursday friends! Tomorrow is going to feel like a milestone day!

I'm so envious of your temperatures right now. But come winter time, not so much. LOL
 
Evening Halloween Fans! Well, we booked our tickets. We have a Halloween lights show (which we did the last 3 years), the awesome Halloween trail (with 13 houses, last year was 10) and something else we found that includes a hayride, a trail, corn maze, Haunted Houses, and other. It's like a 2+ hour event. Happy Halloween!

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Happy Friday to all! And Happy Rudolph Day #8!

Folks - today is a major achievement. In only ONE WEEK, we will be back HOME in THE BERS. I don't know how it came so quickly, but I will not complain. If we are forced to live in the "present", then the present feels pretty good being able to look out the window and literally see The Bers.

My wife surprised me yesterday with a bag of Reese's pumpkins and ghosts. Wal-Mart here locally, at long last, has their Halloween candy out in full force. What a special time! I have given specific instructions that if she is out on an errand and sees the Reese's Halloween candy, to buy a bag, or maybe even a few. We'll stockpile it if we have to. But not too many worries, from this point until probably the second or third week of December, we will have seasonal candy in the store. Halloween Ghosts give way to peanut butter trees sometime around mid October.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Happy Saturday! We are 5 days away from our next JOL Day, and now LESS THAN A WEEK until we arrive back home in The Bers. My heart is so happy.

Tomorrow begins our special post series over in The Bers thread. I hope that everyone enjoys this new tradition, I have thought about it for many weeks and months. It is going to feel so good making it back "home".

Can't wait to read your post tomorrow, brother. Your posts about Halloween and the Bers always come from the heart, so I know your Bers Special Post is going to resonate with everyone here. You'll be a tough act to follow, for sure.
 
My youngest daughter finally picked out her Halloween costume this year. She said she wants to be Princess Zelda (from The Legend of Zelda series of video games). Her decision may have had something to do with watching her Dad play through the entirety of Tears of the Kingdom...lol.

Good Afternoon Halloween Friends! Going back through the posts, it seems that I completely didn't post yesterday morning for Sunday's counts. First time in three years I've missed a day! I think the excitement of The Bers special post series got to me! No worries!

We are back on track today with our updated numbers above. The big news obviously this week is that we have JOL Day on Thursday, which might just be the most special JOL Day out of the entire year, as it takes us right into The Bers. I look forward to my ritual of lighting my Halloween Tree that evening, as it will shine the rest of the way through Halloween Season and even through Christmas Season as it joins the rest of the trees.

Folks, The Bers are back on Friday, I just cannot believe it. My heart is full of joy. Have a great day!
