Good Morning Halloween Friends! We are finally standing on the doorstep to the 50 DAY PREVIEW OF THE BERS. I'm not thinking about anything else today. @Edge612 has been working extra hard this year to make it special for all of us like he always does. We are about to enjoy the fruits of the labor.

As a Halloween fanatic, The Bers and Halloween / Halloween season go hand in hand. Halloween wouldn't feel the same without it being in Autumn. Just like Christmas wouldn't feel the same if it didn't come after Thanksgiving. This special time of year that we are so close to right now is special because of how everything flows and comes together perfectly.

I hope that everyone has a great Friday, and please buckle up because we are about to embark on an amazing journey beginning tomorrow!

Good Morning Halloween Friends! It's finally here. The 50 Day Preview of The Bers BEGINS NOW. This is going to be the motivation we need to make the final push through what's left of the summer slog. It was all I could think about for the longest time and now its here.

So many emotions this morning. I'm just in a fall state of mind. From the first JOL Day where I could feel my Fall Feelings clinging to life and starting to "recharge", to seeing the conclusion of July 4th and knowing that "our time" was NEXT. Now we're nearly here. Folks, let's enjoy these next 50 days. I'm sure going to. Have a great day!

I am a little early this year, but I really want time to slow down. I always look forward to fall and Halloween but I am also enjoying summer and have avoided the summer slogs this year. Unfortunately that makes time seem like it is flying by. I feel like I am going to blink it will be Christmas!

Evening Halloween Fans! What a day it's been pretty busy. Exercise, Food shopping, Laundry, Visiting my friend, helping with dinner and now finally sitting down to eat. But a nice relaxing evening ahead. Happy Halloween!

I hear you. I always warn people not to rush the summer. I used to try to rush winter and then I just stopped rushing anything. It's not worth it and honestly we can't control time anyway!

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Happy Sunday! Almost at the halfway point of the month now. It really amazes me how after July 4th, July seemed to pick up another gear. It's glorious to see "Days To The Bers" finally dip under 50 days.

We're almost on auto pilot now. The last week of July I feel myself just riding along on a rail, sliding into Fall Pre-Season is so easy. We have a couple more hot days to sweat through this week, but we will have a nice break / cooldown late this week as we get back down into the upper 70's and only mid 80's. Still a few weeks away from those classic cool mornings and evenings, but we're getting there. I did see some low 60's sprinkled into the overnight lows towards the end of the week!

It's wonderful seeing Halloween / Fall stuff begin to show up now. Candy at CVS, and Michaels being "all in" for Halloween. I actually hope to go there today. Have a great day, friends!

I'm actually stunned realizing Fourth of July was ten days ago. It seems like I was protecting my ten fingers from fireworks just a few days ago. Six left BTW. I call that a win. Definitely agree though. Enjoy your moments even though buzzing and biting insects are sometimes against you for the time being. Hitting a record show today and a minor league baseball game next week. Of course I'll be stopping in Hobby Lobby for Halloween viewing, pre-game.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! The halfway point of the month arrives this week! July feels like it has been moving fast despite the relentless and brutal heat most of the USA has been going through since late June. We get real relief this week, if we can get through today and tomorrow. Starting on Wednesday, we get back down into the 80's and by Saturday we deal with 70's again. Late this week we start getting overnight lows down in the 60's, they are a welcome return as we continue our journey towards Fall.

It's still too early in July to start predicting when the horrible hot weather "breaks" for good, but If I had to give a prediction this morning I do believe that it will happen in the latter part of next week. I check that daily and look at observations and reports and come to my own conclusion. It will be relief for all when we get back to the "normal" summer weather.

We've got ONE count, folks, that is hanging on the 100's, and that's the "Days to Halloween" count. I want to try and keep that one out there for as long as I can, but you know how that goes.

Keep thinking your Halloween thoughts, and try and stay cool, as the next two days here are going to be absolutely brutal. Stay cool!

Good morning Halloween Fans!

Sorry for my absence the last few days.

I did go to Cracker Barrel over the weekend and they had a small, but nice selection of Halloween stuff out. It was nice to see and we did pick up a blowmold. It is stacked skulls with a raven on top. Should look good by the front door.

Evening Halloween Fans! It's hot. We know that. It's summer. But we haven't had this many 90s in a while. But this summer we're getting it. My a/c is working well and keeping strong though through the dog days of summer. Happy Halloween!
