**MILESTONE DAY**
Good Morning Halloween Friends! It's Tuesday of the last full week of July, and it's a MILESTONE DAY to boot! Today we celebrate being only 100 days from Halloween! I tried to keep this count out ahead of us as far as I could, even when I have a tendency to try and rush them a little. Take a good look and try and enjoy seeing that "100" today, because it will be the last time in this current thread that we have a count that is in triple digits.
We started this thread last Halloween night, but didn't post the "new" countdowns until November 1st. When we did, we had SIX counts that started in triple digits. Now there's only one. So try and enjoy it today. Our next milestone in here will be on Saturday, when we reach 50 DAYS TO HALLOWEEN SEASON.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! The counts look spooky this morning, now that there are no triple digits remaining anywhere. We are ONE WEEK AWAY from JOL Day #6. I think it might be one of the most special of the year because when JOL Day ends, we will be safely in Fall Pre-Season, and our real "final countdown" is on.
Speaking of Fall Preseason, tomorrow will see us only 7 days away from our next major destination! I'm already seeing advertisements when scrolling through Facebook for the first NFL pre-season game, I can't wait. And so many camps are going right now, seeing daily football news again has been pretty exciting! And who could miss that we are now down in a 30's count to The Bers!
Today's Wednesday fact / discussion has to do with Autumn and how it got started according to ancient Greeks!
While scientists tell us that fall occurs when the Earth tilts away from the sun, the ancient Greeks had a much cooler explanation. According to Greek legend, the season is caused by Persephone's return to the underworld, where she rules as Hades' queen. Her mother, Demeter, the goddess of fertility and harvest, is so upset that she allows the planet's crops to wither—until Persephone's return in the spring.
Pretty neat legend - I remember being in elementary school and being fascinated with all of the greek gods and the stories around them, when we were learning about that kind of thing. Have a great day, friends!
