What a rainy couple of days we've had! Feels and looks like October!
I simply cannot believe that our very final JOL Day is here in two more days and we will basically be ushering in October. I'm expecting to see lots of Halloween objects today when I am out on my errands. OUR TIME is nearly here! Let's enjoy every day of it as much as we can!

How on earth are we at the end of September? Where did September go?
I have been so busy I still do not have my outside Halloween decorations up. Good inside the house, but not outside. I am going to try to get some lights up this weekend if I can dodge the rain.

I brought out the tub with my Halloween Village and plan to set it up first thing tomorrow morning! I should have held off on the Apple Cider donut until tomorrow.
Evening Halloween Fans! I hope you all had a great Saturday so far. It's not over. And tomorrow I have Irvin's Legend. What will it be like? This is something new for us. Each year we try to add/rotate a new event in that we never did before. Happy Halloween!
Tomorrows Dark Arts Sunday will be held in honor and memoriam of Dame Maggie Smith, who as Professor McGonogal, was my favorite Howard’s professor!
Just went through my outside Halloween lights and I need to buy a bunch of new strands. They are almost all out which is really disappointing. Luckily, I will be at the store tomorrow so I can buy new ones. I wonder what else I will buy?

Sorry about the lighting, if I can get a better picture later I will replace this one but it felt great to get my Halloween Village out. One piece needs to be repaired again, but I am afraid it may not make it many more years.
P.S. The weedy looking patch in the background is actually horseradish, it looks good about one month a year.

I am hoping to get my outside lights up this week as well. I bought some new lights this morning. If I have some time this evening, I might get them up on the bushes. That will at least get things started.
I'm glad you like it! I have soybeans on three sides this year, corn on the 4th! It can feel pretty empty after harvest but once it snows, it all looks beautiful.
