Good Morning Spooky Spring Fans! Spooky Spring is officially live and underway, and we are also HALFWAY TO OCTOBER, in a big combination event / milestone day to begin this Tuesday.

We're also inching towards the 150 DAYS TO THE BERS milestone. I hope that every single one of us enjoys Spooky Spring, because I have a feeling this month is going to fly by. Friends, I will confide in you that I am torn on something - Normally I like to "wish away" time, to get us closer to the holidays. I want to wish time away so that I can get on the other side of our pregnancy, but I don't want to wish away Spooky Spring because I've been waiting for it since last Halloween ended. So that's my conundrum. I believe in the end, my love for Halloween and joy of Spooky Spring will win out. It might even make Spooky Spring feel "longer" than normal.

Either way, when we get to Halfoween, Baby #2 won't be long away at all!

SPOOKY SPRING IS HERE!

I've been saying this for weeks, but I really am excited. This is the shot in the arm I've been needing since the year began. And this time of year is also typically when we get a bunch of "Halfway to Halloween" announcements, and those just supercharge me because they're exciting to think about.

I'm so glad we finally made it!

I like to break out my holiday shirts and pajamas for JOL days too!!!! Tom Turkey days, and Rudolph Eve and Rudolph Days. I hated only wearing them in October, November, and December!

Yeah I started wearing Christmas themed lounge pants on the 24th/25th of each month. Even DH joined me this past month by wearing his too LOL. I figured if I am going to celebrate those days then might as well do it right with the themed lounged pants and themed coffee mgs

Evening Halloween Fans! Welcome to Spooky Spring! I hope all is well. I LOVE April. Seriously, maybe the most underrated month. Summer gets hype, winter gets criticism, March gets hope, fall is IT to us, but everyone skips over April. Not us though. Happy Halloween!

Got swept up in the excitement and broke out a pumpkin beer to enjoy with a viewing of Muppets Haunted Mansion. I used to just celebrate Halfoween, but I think I may have caught the Spooky Spring virus. I blame all of you for infecting me.

I watched Rankin Bass, Jack O' Lantern, the other night. That's more my speed. LOL

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Day #2 of Spooky Spring is here! We had perfect weather for Day #1. On the cool side with a few showers. Last night it got chilly and we turned on the pellet stove, which has been off for the past four or five days at night. It really felt like October. Today is going to be more of the same, only 60 but vibrant sun.

One week out now from my 50 Day milestone to Baby #2, which is just about as spooky/scary as you can get here in early April. That number may advance by a week, as the Dr's are still floating between 37/38 weeks as they have been this entire time. 37 weeks would start on the Friday of Memorial Day weekend, so indeed it is possible that we would start our new journey / start heading home from the hospital right as "The Road" is opening / open! That would be cool!

Still heading to a big milestone day on Friday - 150 DAYS TO THE BERS. I'm so ready.

Breaking out the classic horror tonight with "The Exorcist"! Have a great day!

Good Morning Halloween Friends! It's mini Friday! We're standing on the doorstep now to a big milestone. 150 DAYS TO THE BERS. And I believe I might go into Hobby Lobby this weekend for the first time since Christmas 2024.

A count that stood out to me this morning was Fall Preseason. Less than 4 months from now. That might be one of the sneaky counts that I don't always keep my eye on. Still fairly full counts on "October", and "Days to Halloween". I kind of wish I could keep the "Days to Halloween" count in the 200's forever. Sometimes I sort of wonder what it would be like if it would perpetually be October forever. That's kind of what I'm going for as I continue to imagine / create my 24/7 Fall/Autumn/Halloween Town.

Edit: I had forgotten entirely about Muppets Haunted Mansion. I'll have to fire that one up sometime this month. As I recall, it was pretty decent although I was hoping for more from it.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Happy Friday! We have finally reached Friday and we have finally reached 150 DAYS TO THE BERS. This is a major milestone, and one that I have always felt was one of the most significant of the entire countdown year.

Double nickels on the baby #2 count, which could end up being a few days earlier than that, as we are still trying to nail down our delivery day. Holly has a checkup this morning, we very well may learn today what that date is. As soon as I know, you guys will know.

Today is also the last time you will see the "Weeks to Halloween" weekly count in the 30's. That is a little spooky. I think we've got another great evening in store for "Halloween Feels", as it cools down and we have rain showers on and off! Tonight it looks like "Ghost Ship" is going to be on the TV again. A re-run already? Come on Solid..

Good Morning Weekend Halloween friends! The first "official" weekend of Spooky Spring is here. And I have to say it feels awesome being under 150 days to The Bers. I've been continuing work on my little Halloween "town", I have a few more places that I want to work with the AI to get "right", and I have to say it has been fun messing with different prompts and descriptions. I wanted to have the Halloween town ready by the time we got to Spooky Spring, but it's taking more time than I thought. Maybe by Halfoween?

Time marches on and Spookily enough, I will enter a 30's count to Baby #2 this week! Still no word on the exact surgery date. Our Dr. Yesterday said that he was going to check the chart and if the request had not been sent, he was going to send it that day. So Holly told me that if she doesn't get a call by Friday morning, she is going to call them herself. That is the last "hurdle" that we need to clear, we are prepared on everything else.

We're visiting Camp Crystal Lake tonight for a viewing of the original Friday the 13th! Have a great day, friends!
