Good Morning Halloween Friends! Spooky Spring rolls along and today really might feel like Halloween. Overcast and only reaching a high of 60 degrees. Yesterday was 82 lol.
Yesterday's "Christmas Hunting" was indeed successful and I found Christmas ornaments up on the shelves. This is the earliest that I ever have saw them in there in many years, maybe the earliest ever. I have not been in Hobby Lobby since last Christmas ended, so it is even possible those ornaments may have been in there the last week of March.
We will indeed be dipping into the 40's this week on the current Days to Baby #2 count. I swear every time I look at our big calendar hanging up here it gets closer and closer. And hopefully one day this week we know the actual day of surgery, so it might even be a little sooner.
Spooky Spring continues and tonight we watch "The Mummy" from 1999.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! It's Tuesday again, and the horrors of Monday are in the rearview mirror now and the week is automatically getting better. I was honored yesterday by getting Employee of the month at work, and I got a nice little trophy and a plaque to hang up. This is the example of it, but it says "City of Winchester" Employee of the month on the tag on the bottom. So it goes into the trophy case here at home.
Folks, tomorrow I hit 50 DAYS to go until Baby #2, and I emphasize that we probably are going to come up a few days short with that count. We hope that we are going to hear from the surgery center this week. Holly has vowed to stay on them because we're getting down to the nitty gritty here - she's 31 weeks on Friday so we would have about 6 weeks to go from that point.
Today should be called "Spooky Winter" because it only gets to 40 degrees and we get overnight lows in the 20's! I'm going to take a trip down to Ocean Avenue tonight and watch the original Amityville Horror tonight.

Good Morning Friends! Happy Wednesday! I have indeed reached a milestone today - 50 Days until Baby #2. Folks, that's SCARY, here with the theme of Spooky Winter / Spooky Spring. I emphasize that it might be a couple of days earlier, Holly is going to contact the surgery center this week to hopefully nail down our delivery day. This month is going fast and those 50 days might melt away.
We're five days away in this thread from seeing our very last 200 level countdown in this thread. When we reach 200 Days to Halloween next Monday, that will be the last time there is any 200 level counts in this thread until the *2026* Halloween countdown thread goes up. This is quite an achievement!
I have said for months that I wish that I could keep the Halloween count as far away as possible. Even though our goal in this thread every year, day after day, is just to get back to The Bers, the ultimate goal is to make it back to October/Halloween. But by doing that, we end up restarting the counts again, thus repeating the process. There is no realistic way to "stay" in a perpetual Autumn / October all the time, which is why I try and enjoy as many moments as I can like Spooky Spring, Tom Turkey Day, and Jack O Lantern Day.
Still lots of Spooky Spring left - I'm watching "Zombieland" tonight! Have a great day!

Still no Halloween candy news yet, but I'm enjoying Spooky Spring Winter! I'm sure there will be more big announcements before the end of the month.
Yeah...gotta be any moment now for sure. After Easter there are no more "candy holidays" until Halloween.
