Good Morning Halloween Friends! It's another wonderful weekend and now that we are in Spring, it's even better.
Folks - I have to emphasize, this is the FINAL weekend before Spooky Spring kickoff weekend, which will see us having Dark Arts Sunday, JOL Day on Monday and then Spooky Spring OFFICIALLY beginning on Tuesday.
Spooky Spring was also getting some love yesterday over in Reddit at R/Halloween. It was pretty awesome to see, maybe there are more of us than we thought. Still trying to get a group to grow for all of the 365 Fall / Halloween people like us!
Holly had a doctor checkup yesterday and she was told that it looks like we will be delivering at 38 weeks, so all that is needed now is to actually get our surgery / "due date". I expect that to come within the next 4 weeks. I'll let everybody know. That gives me a little more measure of comfort because we delivered Abigale at 38 weeks and everything was fine after that rough first 24 hours which was mostly because of me being a "newbie" when it comes to hospital / baby stuff.
So when Spooky Spring gets here, that will most likely be the FINAL month before our Son is here!

Good Morning Halloween Friends! The last full week of March is here! It is Rudolph Day Eve, Tomorrow is Rudolph Day, we have Tom Turkey Day on Thursday, and then Spooky Spring Kick Off Weekend, which will begin on Friday night and continue with Dark Arts Sunday on 3/30, and then JOL Day #3 one week from today that takes us right into the official start of Spooky Spring!
It's a big week and there will be lots of feels. On the subject of Rudolph Day and feels, I have always felt like March might be the "last" time you have a Rudolph Day and have any kind of "sad" feels, missing Christmas, or any other kind of doldrums. Once we get in the heart of Spring, those feelings are replaced more with excitement and anticipation.
Why am I mentioning the other holidays in a dedicated Halloween thread? Because ALL of the Holidays go together, they wouldn't feel right if we didn't have the Holiday Trifecta starting with Halloween. Halloween I feel is the true "gatekeeper" for the rest of the year's festivities.

The big number on the count this morning is obviously seeing, in the words of Samara from "The Ring"......"SEVEN DAYS" - until the start of Spooky Spring.
That's Spooky Spring getting ready to reach out and grab us here in another week! And we will start our Spooky Spring kickoff weekend on Saturday night! It's going to be a blast and we've been waiting for it for so long!

Man, I am in need of this Spooky Spring so much. I am most definitely not in need of Samara. I’ll copy the tape or whatever I’ve got to do to avoid her crawling out of the TV at me, all creepy and twitchy. Ick.

Obviously the big buzz in the air is being here standing on the doorstep to Spooky Spring. But let's not overlook Tom Turkey Day tomorrow, honoring Thanksgiving is important because Thanksgiving is such a HUGE part of The Bers in general.

Evening Halloween Fans! I hope all is well. Well I had today off just as a laid-back day off. Took Damian to the vet, went to the park twice with him (we normally go once) and went food shopping/had pizza out for lunch. Now home early to relax and read tonight. Need these days once in a while. Happy Halloween!
