I appreciate it Rich! You are welcome to take as many or as little days as you want! I'm hoping it is a quick turn around in there. We were there 4 days last time, the 4th day being entirely unnecessary medically, but the state of Virginia requires new parents to "room in" 1 night with monitoring/help from the nurses before getting discharged the next day. I remember being terrified that I was going to do something "wrong" and we weren't going to get to go home on time. So we should shave that down by one day easily!

Baby #2 will be here just in time for all of the good stuff: The reopening of "the Road," JOL Day #4, Memorial Day Weekend... the timing couldn't be better!

I went to our Hobby Lobby tonight and didn't see anything new. But that should change soon since the Fourth of July items will go on sale Monday (I think). As I walked through the fall stuff, I heard a little boy in the next aisle, where all the pumpkins are, start yelling, "Is it Halloween soon?!" He kept asking over and over. He was so excited. I had the biggest smile on my face.

Good Afternoon Halloween Friends! Believe it or not I'm just getting online for the first time today. I had two flat tires on both my yard cart and my riding mower, so Dad and I went up to his work this morning to use the tire machine. I hope I didn't worry anybody, with all we have going on there might have been some who thought we went to the hospital early without me posting first thing this morning. All is well.

We're just TWO WEEKS away from JOL Day #4 now and we are exactly ONE WEEK away from the ALL-IMPORTANT 100 DAYS TO THE BERS milestone. I can't believe that will be here in just one week from today.

Electrical gremlins have gotten my trailer too, so it's over to Lowe's later to get a light kit to completely replace all 4 lights.

Hard to not see or hear those movies and immediately be transported to an October-like state of mind. Precisely why I still hold "Dark Arts Sunday" once a month as sort of a Jack O Lantern Day preview.....

Today is only going to get to 72, and this week might be the "last" cool week before the SweatFest arrives. The warmest day this week will be 72. Memorial Day weekend right now is slated to be under 70 degrees!

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Monday is finally here. This starts "Baby Week". I work today and tomorrow and then will be off before lunch time on Wednesday to start my paternity leave.

The weather yesterday was absolutely gorgeous here, and driving around on the mower with that breeze blowing, it honestly felt like late September or October. I enjoyed every minute that I was outside. I think we get that weather all this week. A comforting sign from the universe or maybe I'm reading too much into it?

On the counts, you can see we are zeroing in now on the 100 DAYS TO THE BERS milestone day. It's still surreal to look forward a little bit and realize that we will see the October count dip under 100 days before next month is over.

Thank you! This is so cool I was actually sitting at work this morning and thinking about how I basically had 72 hours to go - nobody in this house will be getting much sleep on Wednesday night. Tomorrow is my last full time day at work for at least two weeks! Thank you again!

Good Morning Halloween Friends! It's 50 degrees outside right now. That's not a typo. It doesn't even hit 70 degrees today. This whole next week is going to feel exactly like Fall. In a way it's weird because when we had my daughter, it was in mid October and we had chilly nights and mild days. Even though it is almost Memorial Day, the weather pattern seems to be the same. So Deja Vu big time.

You can see on our counts above that we are zeroing in now to the 100 DAYS TO THE BERS milestone, which will be here on Saturday. Memorial Day weekend is that big beacon that we are all looking for right now, trust me.

One of these mornings before "The Morning", I think I'm going to "cheat" and listen to some Halloween music on the way to work with this cool weather!

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Today is my final day before the baby is here. And it might be my longest day. I doubt any of us will be able to get any sleep tonight. It will probably be the last time for a while that any of us gets any sleep at long length. I'm working a half day today, then coming home and getting ready for tomorrow. I'm hoping to post in the morning (since I'm already up) one more time before heading out to the Hospital, I'll then need a countdown volunteer after that point.

Back on the lecture at hand - Tomorrow begins SINGLE DIGITS on the way towards JOL Day #4, and by that point we will be just two short days away from the all-important, totally amazing 100 DAYS TO THE BERS milestone! Folks, our ROAD is about to open up!!!
