Halloween 2025 Countdown!

Just finished Nosferatu. Excellent movie! Very well done and keeping several elements and imagery to the original. If you have not seen it, it is worth the watch.
It sure is! The "Bonneton" / Cap World theme. It's my favorite from the game, it sounds like something in Harry Potter, and I love that cap world with all of the ghosts flying around and the giant moon. Just feels like Halloween a bit!

Howdy Pumpkin People! Today we usher in June in all of its glory. It's 44 degrees outside right now, but quickly warming up. The SweatFest arrives on time this week. For most of the next 3 months, we will be doing what we can to try and avoid most of the heat and dream about Fall, that is now UP NEXT because Summer is the last season before we get back HOME to our time.
June is the grand halfway to Christmas Month. I'm expecting Hobby Lobby to burst with Christmas stuff any day now. It's getting close. And I'm excited because QVC is going to have Christmas in July starting at the end of this month. I love it, it might be one of my favorite "summer activities".
Our next milestone will be in two days when we reach our very final 150 Day milestone, the 150 DAYS TO HALLOWEEN milestone. Also, double duty that day as it will signify only 90 DAYS TO THE BERS. Holy cow.

I am still off of work the rest of this week, and I just realized then when I go back to work next Monday, on June 9th, I will see the HALFWAY point of June at the end of that week. Good morning Halloween Fans!
It is another lovely morning here in Ohio. Just sitting on the porch, drinking coffee and listening to some music. Still has that wonderful Fall temperature going on.
My wife and I were talking about the tree decorations we need for our Beetlejuice tree! Looks like some online shopping for tree decor is on the way!

Evening Halloween Fans! I hope your week is starting off well. We started off chilly this morning (40s) and now are warming up quickly into the 60s and 70s soon. This time of year it's going to warm up fast normally. Heat coming later this week. Happy Halloween!
We got to 96 yesterday. I want to speak with whomever is in charge, that temp is unacceptable for the first day of June.

Happy Tuesday, folks! It's double milestone day!
Today we celebrate 90 Days to The Bers, and 150 DAYS TO HALLOWEEN, respectively. I can't believe the last few years I haven't done anything "special" to celebrate the 90 day milestone. It's such a huge deal. I think maybe I do something special for all of the 90 day milestones across all of our counts. 3 months feels far away but there is also a feeling of closeness, if that makes any sense.
A count that I'm watching now and one that I'm super excited over is breaking into the 50's now on Days to Fall Pre-Season. I've mentioned it before, but when I go back to work next week, at the end of that week will actually be the HALF WAY point in June. Fall Pre-Season will then be less than 7 weeks away. That just blows my mind. I've been a 24/7 countdown guy for years, and I still find things to get excited over / discover.

Every year, as we get closer and closer to our ultimate destination of The Bers, I like to take a few minutes and think back of how far we have come. And the journey that is left is not anywhere near as long as the one we have been on so far.
Under 90 Days to The Bers now on the counts, and you'll see that TOMORROW we will be only a week away from the HUGE 50 DAYS TO FALL PRESEASON milestone. That's just incredible. By the time we celebrate JOL Day this month, that count will be in the 30's. That's barely over ONE MONTH!
The Summer Sweatfest is now here - we hit almost 90 degrees today. I hoped that the heat would stay away longer, but that's just not how we roll, apparently.

Happy Thursday, Halloween Friends! Today I am excited to say that in just ONE WEEK, we are 50 DAYS TO FALL PRESEASON. That's huge. I always say that is one of the biggest milestones of the entire year.
The Summer Sweatfest kicked off yesterday with highs of almost 90 degrees. It looks like after Saturday, as rains move in again, it cools down and we are going to have much more comfortable 75 to 80 degree days. Any kind of respite from the SweatFest, however brief, will be welcome.
And there's no official countdown, I don't think I've ever posted one on here, but FRIDAY THE 13TH is next Friday. Almost like June gets an "extra" JOL Day. There's only ONE this year, but in 2026, there are THREE, two of which come back to back in February and March, and the final of 2026 is on November 13th. That's crazy!

Evening Halloween Fans! I hope you are all doing well. It's a warm one here folks. Humid out too. But hey it's technically kind of early summer. So it's to be expected and my a/c is working so that is a big plus. Should be a good afternoon but busy. Happy Halloween!
