Evening Halloween Fans! I hope your week is going well. We have clouds outside. We had some rain last night. But now it's dry at least. Most of the day is dry but cloudy. More rain is supposed to arrive Friday into Saturday. Happy Halloween!

Hey everybody! I’m popping in to update everyone. My son was born this morning at 8:35 am. One ounce shy of 7 pounds. Holly’s spinal epidural worked and she was able to be awake for the whole surgery and get to hold him when he came out. This surgery went easier and faster even than the first one.

We are both up in mother baby right now. Holly and I just finished dinner, and she is breastfeeding Jason at the minute.

Hearing nothing “official” yet, but it would seem like Saturday sometime is when we are going home. Head nurse mentioned 48 hours for C section. Holly is doing great pain wise.

I would have never imagined in my wildest dreams that this soon on “Day 1” I would be having a normal conversation with Holly and watching Harry Potter in the hospital!!

Thank you all who prayed for me and wished me well. I felt it today. I hope to have a better update tomorrow!
Congratulations!!!!

DAYS TO JOL DAY #4: 2
DAYS TO FALL PRESEASON: 64
DAYS TO THE BERS: 95
DAYS TO HALLOWEEN SEASON: 116
DAYS TO OCTOBER: 125
DAYS TO HALLOWEEN: 155

Good Morning Halloween Friends and Pumpkin People! Moving right along in our counts today - just two days until JOL Day #4, getting ready to break into 50's territory pretty soon on Fall Pre-Season, and we will have simultaneous special days in 5 more days when we reach 90 DAYS TO THE BERS and 150 DAYS TO HALLOWEEN. I don't think I've ever done anything "special" to ring in 90 days to The Bers, but this year I feel like I will. Just to honor the season and put a bow on everything we went through.

Holly heads to the OB/Surgeon today to have the woundvac removed and hopefully get clearance to drive again. I know she's been looking forward to that. Can't believe it's been a whole week since she had surgery and our son was born.

It got cool here yesterday - the high only reached 55, and with the chilly rain it felt much cooler. We turned on the pellet stove yesterday when the house started to feel chilly. What a huge dose of feels, and also probably a personal record, I can never remember needing HEAT of any kind this late in May. There might be ONE more night like that, Saturday the high here is only in the low 60's, and overnight it gets down in the low 40's. That would honestly be a PERFECT addition to JOL Day, the pellet stove burning and some fall candles and the electric Jack O Lantern. It would really feel like October!

Have a great day!
Can I spend the night on Saturday? I'll bring my Halloween candy!
@The_Escalation and @Edge612, you in?

Good Morning Halloween Friends! TGIF! Looking at our counts above, you can see tomorrow is a big day as we get to celebrate JOL Day #1 and close out May in true spirit of October / Halloween style.

Not much movement on the counts overwise - in 4 days from today we will see the very final 150 Day count in this thread, that being "Days to Halloween". I have mentioned for months that I try and keep the October and Days to Halloween count out in the front as far as I can, because when those get low, it means that our Season has almost came to an end and I'm not ready to start over yet.
Normally the day before JOL Day / Month end, we do a quick recap on the month and the various milestones and such that happened.

There wasn't too many Halloween milestones this month, only one, that happened back on May 4th when we reached the 150 DAYS TO OCTOBER milestone. My big milestone event was obviously making it through our pregnancy and whole ordeal at the hospital. I worried about it nearly daily for over 8 months, and now it is finally behind us and everyone / everything is getting "back to Normal"

A quick peek into June:

Something just about every week! How was your May? Let us know in the comments today.

Good morning Halloween Fans!

So, May... it was a decent month. May is always a bit hectic with Track season, offseason football lifting, and the end of the school year. This May was overall cooler than normal which was nice overall and certainly helped maintain some Fall vibes.

Tomorrow I certainly plan on enjoying JOL. Need to pick a movie or two.
