Good Morning Halloween Friends! TGIF! Looking at our counts above, you can see tomorrow is a big day as we get to celebrate JOL Day #1 and close out May in true spirit of October / Halloween style.
Not much movement on the counts overwise - in 4 days from today we will see the very final 150 Day count in this thread, that being "Days to Halloween". I have mentioned for months that I try and keep the October and Days to Halloween count out in the front as far as I can, because when those get low, it means that our Season has almost came to an end and I'm not ready to start over yet.
Normally the day before JOL Day / Month end, we do a quick recap on the month and the various milestones and such that happened.
There wasn't too many Halloween milestones this month, only one, that happened back on May 4th when we reached the 150 DAYS TO OCTOBER milestone. My big milestone event was obviously making it through our pregnancy and whole ordeal at the hospital. I worried about it nearly daily for over 8 months, and now it is finally behind us and everyone / everything is getting "back to Normal"

Good morning Halloween Fans!
So, May... it was a decent month. May is always a bit hectic with Track season, offseason football lifting, and the end of the school year. This May was overall cooler than normal which was nice overall and certainly helped maintain some Fall vibes.
Tomorrow I certainly plan on enjoying JOL. Need to pick a movie or two.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Happy Jack O Lantern Day! It's a mini-version of the Halloweekend, that is coming in just 5 more months!
You can see on the counts above that we are within striking distance now to the 150 DAYS TO HALLOWEEN milestone! It will be the very last time in this current thread that we will have a 150 Day milestone. I suspect the counts will flow like water after that, so hold on to every day and try and enjoy it!
Tonight I will be re-visiting Haddonfield and watching "Halloween 4", which I have long stated I think has the very best "Fall Opening" of any movie I've ever watched. I think it is the perfect movie to watch right here on the eve of the SweatFest beginning, armed with the comfortable knowledge that in just ONE MORE SEASON, it will be OUR TIME again.
I have also just a short treat to share - the AI photos I finally got around to creating for my "Halloween Town". Hope you enjoy:

I have the Halloween music playing, and tonight I am finally going to watch the new Nosferatu movie. I planned on watching it a couple of times, but something has always come up. But tonight is the night! I told my wife that we have to watch it tonight!
Looks like this is the last "cool" weekend for awhile, summer is coming in strong this week.

When I saw the forecast a few days ago, I got excited thinking that this JOL might be the "only" JOL Day outside of possibly the September one where it actually feels like Fall as far as weather is concerned. We can do everything else with the audio and the visual but the weather is obviously the hardest one to leave to chance. Jan & Feb feels like winter. March might be closer to October-like, and our weather for Spooky Spring this year was downright October-esque. Usually by now May is a heatwave. I'll take this.

And Target isn't the only retailer advertising early. I've seen similar ads for TJ Maxx/Marshall's/Homegoods and At Home Stores.
As @SolidSnake84 pointed out, Cracker Barrel already has Halloween items on their website. It shouldn't be long before they put them in their restaurants/stores.
